Jason Biggs Was ‘Emotional’ Seeing Son Sid for the First Time

06/18/2014 at 03:00 PM ET

He made a name for himself with cringe-inducing scenes in American Pie and now that Jason Biggs is a dad, he’s discovering some real-life scenarios that can be just as sticky.

Like diaper changing, for example. “This little baby can pee a full stream,” Biggs, 36, tells PEOPLE of 4-month-old son Sid.

Adds his wife, actress and author Jenny Mollen: “You have to use something to cover it. It’s like a fountain. Sid will pee in his own face.”

And then there’s the couple’s tendency to share personal moments on social media (think breastfeeding and post-delivery placenta shots). “I’ve always posted stuff and gotten in trouble,” jokes Biggs. “This is my kid. Don’t tell me what’s wrong!”

Echoes Mollen, whose new collection of essays, I Like You Just the Way I Am, hit bookstores Tuesday: “There are moments I wish I didn’t put as much out there. But I don’t know how not to share.”

One thing is for certain — Mom and Dad couldn’t be prouder of their bundle of joy. “I was overcome [meeting Sid for the first time],” says the Orange Is the New Black star. “It was emotional. I cried!”

Adds Mollen, 35: “The minute I had Sid, all I wanted to do was be with him. It’s weird to think about the fact that one day he’s not going to want to live with me.”

For more from Biggs and Mollen, including why they credit couples therapy for their strong marriage and how an earlier miscarriage drew them closer, pick up the newest issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday.

You know, i kind of love their brand of kooky. They’re a fun couple and Jenny’s book was great – got an advance copy. She had a pretty messed up childhood and reading it made me better understand the oversharing and need for attention and approval. Jason, you’re killing me this season on Orange though – Polly? Really?!

although I’m no fan of Tara Reid, he was rude…especially since her body and his face share the same level of appeal

I am sure he loves his child, but he hasn’t let that love get in the way of his rude and judgmental comments for others.

I was recently told to check out his wife’s instagram and twitter feeds. There’s funny, and then there’s crass and desperate. He could have done better.

@ Melissa – Spoiler alert warning would be nice!

Is it a spoiler when the show was available to watch two weeks ago? I assumed most fans had already watched, my bad.

Sid Biggs sounds like the name of a porn star.

I cant wait to get her book. I love them…they are funny. If you don’t like their brand of humor then don’t waste your time on them. I am sure you aren’t hurting anybody’s feelings.

I LOVE THEM…that is all.

I doubt this marriage will last. Hiring a hooker for a threesome and have a marriage with baby. I find these two disgusting.
