And baby makes … how many?
“He is so excited,” Grammer’s daughter Greer, 22, tells PEOPLE. “He is so happy. My dad loves babies. He loves having children and he’s always wanted a really big family, so he’s just really excited to have a new little life in the family.”
But being a dad to so many kids – with a handful of women – tends to cause some mix-ups.
“It gets hard for other people [to keep track of his children],” Greer, who Grammer had with Barrie Buckner, said. “Like people always ask me, ‘So, Spencer‘s mom is who?’ And then there’s the two with Camille. And now there’s going to be two with Kayte. People get confused with how the relations work. There’s going to be so many of us. It’s funny.”
That’s not the only bit of confusion experienced when it comes to Grammer and his kids. A pal once doubted he’d be able to father an attractive female.
“My dad always tells the story how someone told him one time that he would never have a pretty daughter,” Greer admits. “They were like, ‘Kelsey, you will never make a pretty girl.’ One of his friends told him that back in the day before Spencer was born. And now we tend to think that’s wrong.”
And while there’s still no word yet on whether or not Grammer’s baby-on-the-way will be another little lady, Greer is looking forward to having another sibling, and is getting prepared for it by spending time with her 21-month-old half-sister, Faith Evangeline Elisa.
“I’m really excited,” she says. “I love my little sister Faith. She’s beautiful and super sweet. She doesn’t cry that much. She just giggles all the time.”
But babies aren’t the only things on the brain for the actress, who has a long list of activities that are keeping her busy. Aside from being a USC student, Greer stars in MTV’s Awkward and has the lucky privilege of playing Leighton Meester‘s love interest in the upcoming movie Life Partners.
“They end up kind of dating at the end of the movie,” she says of the two characters. “I play her significantly younger girlfriend. It’s a really fun part. Not too shabby.”
