The Lady Antebellum tour bus is about to get a little more crowded!

Singer-guitarist Dave Haywood and his wife, record executive Kelli Cashiola Haywood, announced via Twitter that they are expecting their first child – a son — this September.

“So excited for a new Baby A on the way in Sept! And it’s a boy!!!” Tweeted the couple, who celebrated their second wedding anniversary on April 14.

It’s a day that Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott has seen coming ever since she welcomed her daughter, Eisele Kaye, in July. The only question was which one of her bandmates — Haywood or Charles Kelley – would be next to jump on the baby bandwagon.

“There is something so beautiful about the innocence of a child and the grace and joy a child brings to everyone,” said Scott of having her baby girl on tour. “It’s only a matter of time. Cassie [Kelley] and Kelli just love on Eisele so much.”

Mom Said It

"We weren't trying to have kids. We left it up to fate. I knew there was a possibility, but I was really excited. Even if you are trying, just to see a positive result is shocking!"
