James Durbin definitely has a lot to Celebrate: he’s going to be a dad again!

The American Idol alum and his wife Heidi are expecting their second child in November, his rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

“We’re looking forward to even more laughter in the house and those silly baby expressions,” the parents-to-be tell PEOPLE.

The couple — married since December 2011 — plan to find out the baby’s sex by cutting into a cake at a gender reveal party.

But big brother Hunter, who turns 5 next month, has his bets on a baby boy.

“He’s very excited. He wants a little brother to play Legos with,” Durbin, 25, says. “Since we spaced them apart from each other, Hunter will probably be a big help.”

While the singer’s been busy working on his new album — Celebrate, which features his single “Parachute,” is out Tuesday — Heidi has been balancing her morning sickness with a sweet indulgence.

“I’ve been craving canned peaches!” she says.

Saw him perform in his hometown of Santa Cruz, where I live. He was awesome! Congrats to them! I hope she’s not eating canned foods, they aren’t good for pregnant women. They contain BPA and make you 80% more likely to have a miscarriage.

Hunter is adorable, he’s a mini me of his mom.

Pam – Did you not read her statement? “I’ve been craving ‘CANNED’ peaches.”

EQ- The way I took it was that Pam was saying she’s hoping that she’s not indulging that craving. ;)

Pam- Fortunately, not everything contains BPA anymore. A lot of companies have phased it out of their products. :) I also don’t believe that it makes you 80 percent more likely to miscarry. If it did, then most pregnancies would end in miscarriage (since most of us eat canned food and use other things with BPA).

Anyway, congrats to them! Oh, and Hunter, you can play LEGOs with a sister, too. I should know- I’m a younger sister who loved playing LEGOs with her brother! :)

Anonymous – I’d just like to point out that 80% more likely to miscarry if you eat canned foods doesn’t mean most canned food eating women will have miscarriages. It means that they are slightly less than twice as likely (example: If 1% of women have miscarriages, then canned food eating women would have a 1.8% change of miscarrying). I have no idea if the stat regarding BPA or canned foods is correct or not, I’m just pointing out the math.

@EQ did you not read her statement? Heidi has been balancing her morning sickness with a sweet indulgence. “I’ve been craving canned peaches!” she says. Meaning that she craves them and she eats them. When I craved something during my pregnancy I ate it, except certain things like canned foods that my midwife told me to stay away from. Better safe than sorry.

Happy to hear it. Congratulations to them.

I craved peaches and strawberries my entire pregnancy with my son and oddly craved any kind of red meat (I’m a vegetarian!) the entire time with my daughter. I wonder why we crave what we crave? It’s so strange!
