Not sure about you, but March 20 marks our fave time of year — especially when it comes to children’s fashion.

So imagine our glee after getting a sneak peek at the new spring collection from Gap Kids.

Inspired by the color blue, it’s full of everything from lightweight jean jackets and embroidered sundresses to soft tees, classic board shorts and boat shoes. Let’s just say, it’s all adorably good.

“[Think] indigo denim and chambray to bold, saturated hues of ultramarine, as well as calm, watery tones inspired by the sea,” Jane Pattinson, vice president of Global Girls, Toddler Girls and Baby Design, tells PEOPLE.

“Everything has a lived-in sensibility, which can be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion.”

And that’s what we love about the company’s easy-to-style basics. There are literally a ton of ways to wear them.

Mom Said It

"We weren't trying to have kids. We left it up to fate. I knew there was a possibility, but I was really excited. Even if you are trying, just to see a positive result is shocking!"
