Fergie’s Heels Are Lower Since Axl Arrived

Fergie may be on cloud nine since welcoming son Axl Jack last August, but she’s a little lower to the ground, as well.

“My everyday heels have become lower,” she tells PEOPLE Wednesday about her changing style. “But on the other hand I’m still a woman — and women like to dress up — so high heels are still very much in the mix!”

The “Fergalicious” singer certainly knows all about shoes, considering she has a successful footwear line, Fergie Footwear, which she recently showcased at an event at Macy’s in Las Vegas during the MAGIC fashion convention.

So now that she’s the mother of a six-month-old, is the designer considering creating a line for kids? “Not yet,” she says.

But that doesn’t mean Fergie’s closing the door on eventually branching out.

“Well my plate is pretty full at the moment,” she explains. “I keep a wait and see attitude about any other design partnership as I always want to make sure that the product is true to me. Do I see myself designing clothes someday? Hmmm … maybe.”

Her heels might be lower, but her face is getting higher by the minute.

I like People but as a new mom why isn’t postpartum being discussed more? As a new mom I noticed NO ONE informed about this issue not my OBGYN when I was pregnant not the nurses after I delivered not the pediatrician when she came to visit me in the hospital I mean no…one. My son is 9 months but I just wish I had known about it that someone talked to me about it warned me that and other articles similar to that would’ve helped not about slimming down after baby or wearing shorter heels after I gave birth just a suggestion PEOPLE

I wish she would CUT her hair; a nice sleek long bob perhaps with a quarter part? stop filling her face and do something about her neck. Lifestyle Lift? She was quite attractive and she looks haggard. WTH?

I agree ladies! She’s looking horrible! But then again I’ve always thought she was so unattractive. Poor thing.

What a really insipid headline. Anyway, she is a SINGER, she should sing. Forget shoes and clothes. Sing, Stacy!

Why does every celebrity think that they can have a fashion line? Do they even have any sense of style? Don’t they all use stylists?

High heels are bad for your feet and lower back. I guess she’ll find that out the hard way when she’s older.

@katrina why are you looking for more information about postpartum on a celebrity news site? Seriously???

Have a new fashion line? Her own sense of fashion style is not that great.
