It’s another boy!

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green recently welcomed their second son together, PEOPLE confirms.

Born Wednesday, Feb. 12, the couple named their son Bodhi Ransom.

The newborn joins big brothers Noah Shannon, 16 months, and Kassius, 11, Green’s son from his previous relationship with Vanessa Marcil.

During his wife’s pregnancy — which the couple announced in August — Green, 40, quickly learned the secret to keeping his household running smoothly.

“I just do whatever she asks for and I say ‘Yes,’ no matter what it may be,” he joked to reporters in September.

In November, Fox, 27, told PEOPLE the couple’s firstborn, Noah, was “a really sensitive child,” and was hopeful he would warmly welcome the family’s newest addition.

“I think that he’s going to be a nurturer. It’s a lot to expect … I think he’s going to be an amazing big brother with time,” she said.

But Green wasn’t so sure. “He is either going to be great or … he’s going to be completely against it and it will be a battle,” he joked.

Oh please! These celebrities think they are the only ones involved in parenthood. Will big brother like or dislike his new sibling?Who cares really?I wish them well on their newest addition but lets get with reality.

@ELC, that was a silly comment.

Mandy on

They named him: Bodhi Ransom Green.

Noah was such a beautiful name. I was hoping for an equally beautiful name. I even like Kassius.

Is ransom a name?

Tammy on

@ SAON, it is now.

Tina on

Ransom? Ugh!

Margo on

I love the name Bodhi. Ransom is an interesting middle name…

Congrats to the Green family!

Alissa on

Congrats on their new son. Love the name, but it is in stark contrast to Noah’s. Both are great names. It doesn’t seem like the same parents would pick them both out though. Glad everyone is healthy and doing well.

Michelle on

Love love love his name as it is the first on the top of my list. Ransom….well, its not on my list but it kind of goes with it. 🙂 can’t wait to see him, if we ever get to. Congrats.

Michelle on

P.S. love that 2 Bodhi’s were born this week. Very cool.

alyson on

wow…never saw that coming. Figured with a popular yet trendy name like Noah they would go for the same with this baby. (Aiden, Mason, Camden) Was not expecting a Bodhi!

Brian and Megan are Normal names but they think their kids r so special they give them goofy names. These r not as bad as so me-Apple anyone?

Kat on

I know it’s spelled Bodhi, but it sounds like Bond Ransom, poor kid!

klutzy_girl on

Whoa, another Bodhi? And with a middle name that starts with “R”? Interesting.

Congratulations to them!

Brooke on

Two Bodhi’s in two days….Wow

Eleonor on

How do you pronounce Bodhi? Like “body”? I am French and I have never heard that name before.

Also, Ransom to my French ear sounds really ridicoulous as its only a word for ” blackmail money” (or am I wrong?) and not an espacially good one, I would never ever imagine someone naming their kid Rançon here in France, that would not even be allowed.

I love this couple they stay out of the news and seem very much in love…. I actually forgot she was pregnant because you never see her hounded by the paps…. congrats on the new addition, sometimes kids can have their whole world change and sometimes they don’t respond well to be a big brother…. and yes it’s a big deal to this little new big brother… I’m sure he’ll welcome his new brother… god bless this little family!

Tee Tee on

Eleonor- You pronounce it “bow-dee.” And yes, ransom is a pretty unusual name!

Congratulations to the family!

Ransom is an old-fashioned name. It was the first name of the inventor of the Oldsmobile (Ransom Eli Olds – hence the acronym REO for one of the models –and, of course, the band named after the car).

fmrob on

from “think baby names” website: Ransom \r(a)-nsom, ran-som\ as a boy’s name is of Old English origin, and the meaning of Ransom is “warrior’s shield”. Also possibly “shield’s son” or a variant of Randolph. Used as first name mainly in the late Victorian era.

didn’t someone just have a bodhi like a few days ago?

don’t care for the name at all.

My son his name is Ransom, his mother when giving birth almost lost her life she paid a hefty Ransom in order to deliver this child she forever will have problems as a result of this child. She was going to die he had to come – he had to come early very early via emergency C section

Put simply, the ransom is Jehovah’s means to deliver, or save, humankind from sin and death. (Ephesians 1:7) To grasp the meaning of this Bible teaching, we need to think back to what happened in the garden of Eden. Only if we understand what Adam lost when he sinned can we appreciate why the ransom is such a valuable gift to us.

Congratulations to Brian, Megan, Kassius & Noah on the birth of baby Bodhi!!

LOVE the name Bodhi….but Ransom??? Not my style…anyway they seem really grounded in reality to me about having two so close together! Congrats to the family!

Carol on

My son’s middle name is Ransome (pronounced the same.) It’s a family name and to me I find a really good name for my son and Megan Fox’s son as well.

Mint on

Another one named Bodhi in just two day? Interesting. Ransom for middle name? Very uncommon name indeed. It’s Hollywood name.

Loving the motherly side of Megan and Brian seems like a great father, so happy for them! Baby Noah is gorgeous and I bet baby Bodhi is , too!

Marky on

Ransom is not a “Hollywood name”, it is an old name, which has been around a long time. It may be a family name, for all we know. Why on earth do any of you think you should name someone else’s child? So bizarre to me; I’ve had friends who named their children names I thought clashed, sounded silly, or didn’t seem to flow with their last name, but whatever. It’s their child, so who am I to criticize.

ELC, do you like anything or anyone? AAaagghhh! Her statement that she thinks Noah will be a good big brother is perfectly normal…talk about someone needing a dose of reality; I wonder if you even know anyone who’s had a child?

Ru on

Thumbs up! (Even if they are gross)

I said this on the post for the couple who had a Bodhi a few days ago – I SO wanted to name my son (who is only 2.5 weeks old, would have been funny given that there are 2 this week) Bodhi, but the name just didn’t sound right with our short, 4-letter last name that starts with a ‘B’.

To ELC – I care, as I am concerned about the same thing currently. Our 2.5 year old is slowly adjusting to having a new baby in the house, and it was a big worry for me. His entire life changed considerably the day we welcomed our second son. It’s a big adjustment for someone so young. I enjoy hearing stories from others, celeb or not, who are going through the same experiences that I am.

I like Bodhi, but Ransom? That’s a new one..

Anonymous on

Marky- That’s just what I was thinking (that it might be a family name)!

Anyway, congrats to them!

Jenn on

Love Ransom! It was my dad’s name!

Lala on

Congrats to them! I’ve always liked the name Bodhi. It sounds like a cool surfer name, and there’s also the skier, Bode Miller (though obviously spelled different).

I think it’s interesting that there were two Bodhi’s in the same week, and both with R middle names. Kind of like when Nick Lachey and Kristen Cavi… (spelling?) both named their sons Camden and J middle names, and in the same week. But theirs is a little more awkward, since they used to date…

Julesy on

Not liking the name of Bodhi Ransom at all! 😦 Noah’s name is awesome. I guess there is a story behind the name but, um, not good,

Melanie on

Oh no! Iam 9wks preg and Bodhi was #1 on my list for a boy, but with 2 celebs this week using it Im worried now it will become all popular and I wanted something a little different 😦

But a huge congrates to them on their baby boy!! Bet they are in baby heaven, there is nothing more amazing than holding your little new born 🙂

Holiday on

Horrible name and a second boy. Sucks for her

Ali on

Like the name Noah, sounds good. Don’t like much the name Bodhi Ransom, but hey it’s a new name, congrats to them.

AmandaC on

2 Bodhi’s in the same month…seems odd. Kinda like 2-3 Camden’s at the same time.

lee on

How do these Celebrities come up with these names?

Didy on

How the hell they name their kid’s name Ransom? Poor kid.
