Penélope Cruz Debuts Her Sizzling Post-Baby Body

Penélope Cruz had a big smile on her face Thursday as she hit the red carpet in London, and we’re guessing we know why.

The mom of two, who just welcomed daughter Luna in July, debuted her slimmer curves in a stunning lace gown by Temperley London that hugged her in all the right places.

The 39-year-old, who was promoting her new film, The Counselor, was joined on the red carpet by her co-star and husband, Javier Bardem.

The couple, who tied the knot in the Bahamas in 2010, are also parents to son Leonardo, 2½.

Cruz has admitted that being a mom has changed her completely, and called giving birth to Leo “a revolutionary experience.”

“It transforms you completely, in a second,” the actress said. “Nature is very wise and gives you nine months to prepare, but in that moment — when you see that face, you are transformed forever.”

Oh my God, this woman is beautiful!

She is simply stunning

She wasn’t ‘debuting her body’ – she was attending an event. What is this unhealthy obsession with post-baby body?

I really empathize with normal ladies who struggle to lose baby weight because they don’t have millions to spend on home gyms and nannies and personal trainers. These articles obsessing about “post baby bods” serve no purpose at all. They just fat-shame women who struggle post-partum and frankly, I am sick of them.

I’d have a body to debut 3 months after baby if I had a zillion dollars, cooks, nannies, personal trainers, etc.. too!

I am really starting to think these “writers” only write the sort of things they do about women’s bodies post baby to rile people up and get comments/page views. It just seems to be layed on so thick in this article it’s obvious.

she is a beautiful woman – love that she keeps her private life private

She looks amazing and her body is fantastic. She is not rail thin but she is fit and has curves! Awesome!

I have never seen her look happier or more beautiful!

Regardless of how many cooks or nannies, they still have to do the work themselves! Geez, green eyed monster constantly rearing it’s ugly head.

The chain smoking helps with the appetite control.

Makes me depressed. I had my baby the end of June and I have not lost all the baby weight still. It makes me also feel like a failure in that way. Thanks Penelope wish I had your resources

She looks beautiful no matter what before and after giving birth

I have no resources and I did it. Many women do it everyday without the resources. Even if she had them, who did the workouts and healthy eating? Support one another negative nellies.

When I had baby #3 (in 4 years), we had $25 in the bank, and were living from paycheck to paycheck. I was BF, we all ate healthy, I cooked the meals myself, (if I was too tired, my husband was happy to help, and he always helped put the kids to bed since they were his kids, too) I exercised in the middle of the floor while the kids napped, and walked to the store with the kids in the stroller. I also didn’t gain 60 pounds to begin with. I was back to pre-pregnancy size in 4 weeks, back in good shape in 6 weeks, and I was also taking care of my very sick mom. It was my husband and myself, taking care of everything; No nannies, no maid, no butler, no chef, and no nothing else but us, 3 kids, and my sick mom. WHY do posters keep saying, “I wouldn’t be fat either, IF I was rich, had a chef, had a maid, didn’t have to work, etc, etc, etc….?” Good grief, off your butts, eat healthy, and exercise at home, and you will lose the weight, and look fine. How about we, as a people, stop being so full of envy, and covetousness, and be thankful for the opportunity to live our own lives the best we can. Penelope Cruz isn”t stick thin, she DOES look very good, and it’s really up to us how we eat and how we look…….

This is not about what it takes to lose baby weight. Personally, I barely gained any to begin with, and had large babies. It’s not the point. It’s not the point at all. There is this unhealthy obsession with ‘post-baby bod’ that is in no way ok. It sends a bad message to ALL mothers, the ones that are thin and the ones that are struggling with weight. It puts the highest priority on one’s body shape, rather then the fact that they just had a baby. It’s sick.

"We weren't trying to have kids. We left it up to fate. I knew there was a possibility, but I was really excited. Even if you are trying, just to see a positive result is shocking!"
