Third child on the way for Thandie Newton!

The Rogue star, 40, and her husband, writer, director and producer Ol Parker, will welcome another baby next year, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

The couple, who wed in 1998, are already parents to daughters Nico, 8½, and Ripley, 13 this month.

Newton’s pregnancy was announced the same day the couple stepped out for the premiere of her film Half of a Yellow Sun, held Sunday at the Winter Garden Theatre during the Toronto International Film Festival.

Didn’t know she was married.

I can’t believe Ripley is 13 already. Weren’t those 2 girls just born? Lol. Congrats.

Is it true Ripley is named after Sigourney Weaver’s character in Alien? Because A+ choice if so (I really like the name though tbh).

Congratulations to them!

Congrats to the happy couple. They seem so solid and unassuming…. Hope all goes well and she has a great delivery. Love her acting!

Wow, I didn’t know she was married and so I definitely didn’t know she has kids either. Well, many congratulations are in order then.

Congrats to them! Also, I find it very refreshing that she’s having another child eight years after the birth of her last child…with the same man! It seems like most of the time, when a celeb has that much of an age gap between kids, the younger kid or kids have a different father than the older one(s). Nice to see a celeb that actually seems to take marriage seriously! 🙂

Congratulations to Thandie and her husband. Something is in the water and the air because everybody is getting pregnant and having babies. A lot of the women having kids are 35 and over too. Congrats.

Congrats to the couple.

Jamsie, Thandie’s father is white so what is your point exactly? Ignorance still alive and well in 2013.

Kica on

Didn’t even she already has two kids. Congrats!

So happy and excited for them. I love Thandie movies.

Good for her! I’ve only ever seen her in “ER” and after her traumatic storyline, I sometimes forget that she’s probably well-adjusted and happy in real life, haha!

Jamie, that is highly offensive. That is a comment that should be deleted

Wow! That is great. I applaud her. My youngest is 10 y/o and I am only 35 but I would never even entertain the idea of another baby.
