It’s a win for the girls team!

Quarterback Eli Manning and his wife Abby have welcomed their second child, the New York Giants confirm.

Lucy Thomas Manning arrived on Monday, June 17, the team announced on its Twitter account.

The couple’s newest daughter joins big sister Ava Frances, 2. The pregnancy was confirmed in March.

With Manning, 32, admitting in the past that he’s head over heels for Ava, the dad of two daughters is now officially outnumbered.

“The first time that you see your daughter, and every day just wanting to be around her and telling her that you love her,” the football star has said.

Another girl well at least there’s no pressure for her to go into the family business…

Those Manning boys are so cute, and seem to be such “good guys”! So happy for them and can’t wait to hear the name. My sister and I are close in age and have always been close friends as well. Most sisters I know have a great relationship and there’s nothing like the fun of hanging out with someone who you share so much history with!

Awww, congratulations to all of them!!! I love Ava’s names, so I can’t wait to hear the new baby’s name! On a sidenote, I also love the Manning family. Very classy family.

Classy? A guy on draft day who whined and pouted about being drafted to the Chargers to his Daddy and everyone else within earshot? Ended up being traded to the Giants and then grinned from ear to ear. He is a baby.

Love him!!! He is a true family man, and he quietly supports great charities like the March of Dimes. Great guy! Congratulations to him and his wife and daughter on the arrival of their new baby sister!!

Congrats, cousin!!!

You’re a patriots fan, aren’t you? He is a class act and so is his brother, you never hear anything about him or his brother getting into any trouble and they are very close, and big deal he didn’t want to go to the chargers, they suck, GO GIANTS!

Kara, learn the facts before commenting. Schottenheimer was overly impressed with Rivers during the Senior Bowl; the Chargers never wanted Eli, but they tried to shop the #1 pick. Look up the USA Today article at the time which quoted the Redskins criticizing AJ Smith and SD for their methods. Manning never manipulated the draft; when the Chargers tried to open negotiations with Eli and Robert Gallery, Tom Condon simply told them that Eli didn’t have to be #1 – so since SD didn’t want him, he would rather them draft someone else. It was Smith who cried like a baby, got the Commish to ask Archie to visit SD, and basically turned the scene into a huge mess. Research this and you will see that I am telling the truth.

Ugh… It’s just football. Get over yourselves and go read a book instead of encouraging barbarism.

Sharon on

So what if she is?

Mimi on

I wouldn’t want to be with Chargers either if i was him. Look at Drew Brees. He left the Chargers and now he has a ring. Eli has two rings already. Rivers will never get a ring unless he leaves SD.

I know this is just football, but someone brought up the whole thing so there.

Oh yeah and congrats on the new baby girl! Gradma Olivia must be thrilled to have so many granddaughters now!

So what if they have another baby it’s there life and they have plenty of money so it’s not like they need help raising the babies plus they have a hot ass uncle Peyton not sure if he has kids but those girls are pretty lucky to have such a close knit family and will be loved from them all. Plus I bet they’ll be alittle bi spoiled by there dad and uncle. Noting beats but have two daddies girls. Congrats to the manning family. I love Peyton manning.

Congratulations! Love the Mannings!
