Victoria Recano Expecting Second Child
Francis Bertrand

This just in — Victoria Recaño is expecting her second child.

The Inside Edition correspondent, 37, and husband Tom Burwell will welcome a son in November, the couple confirm to PEOPLE exclusively.

“We are thrilled and couldn’t be happier,” Recaño, who also hosts The Trend on Zappos Couture, tells PEOPLE.

She and Burwell, an investment services director, were married in 2001. They are already parents to 4-year-old daughter Maximilienne Elizabeth, whom they call Emme.

“I will need her help as I continue the exciting and hectic balancing act of work and motherhood,” Recaño says, adding that her little girl is already helping to choose baby names.

I can’t believe she’s that old. I watch her on the news and I always thought she was in her 20’s! She looks amazing. Congratulations :)

Victoria….Best to you and your beautiful family. I would love to see you the next time you’re home….it’s been a while. Lois

I thought the same thing! My best guess is it came from her initials: M, E. Emme. My dad had a hard and fast rule that you name the baby what you’re calling it – no nicknames! That’s why my name is Claire.

I’m so over the name Emme. Ehmmm is how it should be pronounced lol. Not Emmy.

She has very crossed eyes. Husband is cute lucky gal.

Kelly, it is obviously shortened to Emme for ‘ME’ – the initials of her name. I bet you feel a little foolish for going off on such a rant for nothing, huh? Settle down, they can name THEIR child any name or nickname they please.

Congrats!!!! Why do you all have to pick on these moms and dads for their choices. There are crazier names out there and if they want to give their child a nick-name then let them….. do you have nothing better to do? There is nothing wrong with Emmy and they look super happy!

Well, the sound “EM” is in her name (if I’ve got the pronouncation correct, that IS), so that may be where Emme comes from. And for all we know, they DO pronounce it Em rather than Emmy!

Also, would you really want to put Emme on a job application (especially if it’ is pronounced Emmy)? Probably not, and I’m guessing that’s why they didn’t name her Emme. :)

Anyway, congrats to them!

Either it comes from M.E. initials and is pronounced “Emmy”, or it is the phonetic spelling for the letter M (“EHM”), which is what her first name begins with.

It’s adorable, and when she grows up, she might want a longer, stronger name. I think her parents did right by not making Emme her full name. Nicknames are for kids, not adults.

You people can get off your high horses now.
