Brooke Anderson has her own news to report: she’s pregnant!

The Entertainment Tonight correspondent and her husband Jim Walker are expecting their second child in late November, Anderson announced Friday on her website.

“We are thrilled about expanding our family — though a little anxious about going from one child to two!” the mom-to-be tells PEOPLE. “My husband jokes it will soon be time for man-to-man defense.”

The couple’s daughter Kate Victoria, 4, is counting down until baby’s big debut — and is already thinking pink.

“She is over the top excited and definitely wants a baby sister,” Anderson shares. “Kate’s [sex] was a delivery room surprise for us, but we are leaning towards finding out this time, if nothing else than to prepare her in case she gets a brother instead!”

My sister is due in mid-Nov and won’t find out til next month. They might not know.

I’ve done both and it was more fun when we found out than when we waited for a surprise delivery. Im due in Feb and we’ll find out this time.

or you could still keep it a surprise and tell your kid to deal with the outcome regardless of the gender!

Does anybody eat in that house? They’re so skinny.

Tara- Have you ever tried telling a four-year-old to “just deal” with something like that? I didn’t think so!

Kids that age tend to need time to adjust to dissapointments, and it’s better that she has that time before the baby arrives (if indeed the baby is a boy).

I think ET is a better fit for her than CNN but I thought she was a host of one of those shows before joining CNN – Insider, perhaps? Wonder what happened.

thought she was an Insider co-host when she left cnn — isn’t nancy o’dell the ET co-host? in any case, she is more suited to this kind of program v.s. cnn
