Lourdes Leon Dyes Hair Green

Madonna Daughter Lourdes Leon Green Hair

It looks like Madonna‘s daughter is really growing up.

Lourdes Leon appears to be following in her mother’s experimental footsteps, stepping out in N.Y.C. over the weekend with a new emerald-tinted hairdo.

Though her new hue is wild, the 16-year-old kept the rest of her clothing (including a graphic tee and high-waist jeans) relatively simple.

Seriously, she could pass for any other N.Y.C. teen who had a little fun in the hair dye aisle at Duane Reade.

Madonna has said she needs to be a tougher parent to her daughter (and business partner — the two launched Material Girl together), but we have a hard time believing the queen of transformation would object to her kid giving a new haircolor a shot.

TELL US: What do you think of Lourdes’s new green locks?

It’s true, she’s like many other NYC teens. To me this is better than the half-shaved look she had last year.

I think, at 16, Lourdes has graduated from the “Babies” page.

Mom Said It

"We weren't trying to have kids. We left it up to fate. I knew there was a possibility, but I was really excited. Even if you are trying, just to see a positive result is shocking!"
