Mini Chic! See Harper Beckham’s Designer Rain Boots

03/23/2013 at 11:00 AM ET

Now that her family is spending more time in Europe, Harper Beckham isn’t about to let England’s notoriously wet weather put a damper on her toddler style.

On Monday, Victoria Beckham shared a photo of her 20-month-old daughter’s latest fave footwear.

“Harper loves her Marc Jacobs wellies! Rainy day in London,” the fashion designer wrote, along with a snapshot of the striped lace-ups.

Well it turns out, her boots — which retail for $111 — were definitely made for walking.

Later that day, Harper donned the shoes (paired with Stella McCartney‘s Willow Bomber Jacket, $200) while out in Kensington with her soccer star dad, David Beckham. We’d call that a fashion score!

Hea on

And those take in exactly how much water when you play in a puddle?

LMAO Does it matter Hea? Most kids that I know who play in puddles might start with a cute rain coat and boots…but end up soaked to the skin. Kids are kids. Puddles are ment to be jumped in and to soak everyone in sight. Last time my daughter played in a puddle….she ended up dripping wet, and needing a major bath. Corse, that was after I managed to peel the dripping clothes off her. :)

They probably let in no water at all. The lace-up part is over a full rain boot – pure decoration.

"We weren't trying to have kids. We left it up to fate. I knew there was a possibility, but I was really excited. Even if you are trying, just to see a positive result is shocking!"
