On Saturday and Sunday, the Big Apple was all abuzz with models, designer duds — and juice boxes! — thanks to petitePARADE, who collaborated with VOGUE bambini for their fourth annual Kids Fashion Week.
And just like the grown-up version, industry insiders (including celebrity designer and stylist June Ambrose and her kids) were on hand to see the most popular trends in the pint-size market during the two-day event.
Affordable retailer Target kicked off the weekend’s festivities with an energetic show, where mini catwalkers (below left) walked the runway in fun pieces including a two-toned empire waist dress paired with Cherokee‘s Hemlock Boots ($10), and Shaun White‘s Andes Green Tee ($9) and Boys Chino Pants ($19).

The following day, designer Bonnie Young put her luxe childrenswear (above right) on display including a tiered cream knit dress paired with black Mary Janes and a burgundy suit over a bright pink button down.
Hip label Diesel Kids, below left, also brought their signature streetwear style (and cool break dance moves!) to the stage with a cool black and white ensemble for girls and a brown puffer, striped shirt, printed sweats and lace-up sneaks for boys.

From embellished avant-garde dresses to sporty blazers paired with bright bottoms, other kids brands showing a the event included Stride Rite (whose trendsetting tots wore too-cute suits while strutting their stuff to Justin Timberlake‘s “Suit & Tie“), Andy & Evan, Cupcakes & Pastries, Kissy Kissy, Pimalinda, Umi, Zutano and more.
And in between posing for pictures with Target’s iconic pooch (yes, the brand’s famous bulldog was in attendance!), guests noshed on cupcakes, drinks and fruit pouches from GoGo squeeZ, while rocking out to tunes courtesy 9-year-old DJ Fulano.
