So Sweet! Diddy Takes His Twins to Their First Dance

03/07/2013 at 10:00 AM ET

Diddy‘s little girls are growing up!

Before heading out to a party, D’Lila Star and Jessie James showed off their matching smiles while posing with their very own Prince Charming — dad! — in a sweet snapshot.

“On [the] way to my 1st father daughter dance!!! I’m so EXCITED!!!” the proud papa wrote Friday on Instagram.

And in true princess form, the 6-year-olds sparkled in Ooh La La Couture‘s Pink & Lady Gold Dream Dress ($112), which features a sequined top, oversize yellow bow and ruffled tulle skirt.

Besides their too-cute attire, the music (and now water!) mogul gifted each of his Mini-Mes a coordinating corsage for their special evening out.

So cute the way she has her hand resting on his shoulder.

I’m not the biggest fan of P Diddy but I love his devotion to his kids.

Mom Said It

"We weren't trying to have kids. We left it up to fate. I knew there was a possibility, but I was really excited. Even if you are trying, just to see a positive result is shocking!"
