Is it true, the news that we hear? Yes, Dr. Seuss‘s birthday is very near! But before you bring out the ice cream and cake, sit down with your kids and take a break.
In honor of the much-loved late author’s Saturday birthday (his 109th!), PBS Kids is set to celebrate with exciting new episodes of THE CAT AND THE HAT KNOWS A LOT ABOUT THAT!, fun online games and extra cool content for the kiddies.

First, the whole family can join the crazy Cat, Nick and Sally as they investigate hungry tummy troubles, explore the solar system, take a trip to outer space and learn the basics about bones in two brand new two-part episodes premiering Friday.
Then, hop online with your kids as they have a blast playing the Swirly Whirly Pearl Hunt game, where they’ll have the chance to catch a ride courtesy of the famous Thinga-ma-jigger through the colorful ocean filled with friendly critters.
