Jessica Simpson Expands Maternity and Children’s Shoe Collections

Jessica Simpson is expanding her family — and fashion empire!

After successfully launching Jessica Simpson Maternity in fall 2012, the mom-to-be has partnered with Destination Maternity to bring her celeb-loved pieces to over 800 stores in the coming months.

The announcement coincides with the debut of the fashion designer’s romance-inspired spring 2013 line, which, in addition to her signature colored skinny jeans and flowing tops, promises flirty florals, pretty pastels and beautiful lace accents.

“We have designed a collection that is everyday chic, from bright jersey knit dresses to dressed up denim,” Simpson says. “I am looking forward to wearing my favorite pieces during this pregnancy.”

But that’s not all Maxwell‘s busy mama has been up to. She’s also teamed up with Stride Rite to add sweet crib shoes, ranging from $30 to $35, to her already fab toddler and girls footwear collection on Mother’s Day.

I’m sorry but the way she wears tents and mumus, it is NOT a flattering look…I hope her new maternity line is more stylish than her own wardrobe.

I don’t understand. I like the new fashion line, but when you see her she dresses horribly like a hobo. I see a paradox here.
