Looks like probability isn’t exactly Jenna Fischer‘s forte.

During a Thursday appearance on The Jeff Probst Show, the actress admitted she once believed motherhood wasn’t all baby bliss — but son Weston Lee has proven her wrong.

“When I went into it I thought, ‘Okay, I bet it’s going to be really great 70 percent of the time, and then 30 percent of the time, you just have to get through it,'” The Office star, 38, said.

“And I was like, ‘I can do that, I can do that.’ I love it 100 percent of the time. I honestly do.”

Welcoming her first child with husband Lee Kirk has allowed Fischer to dig deep, discovering strengths — and levels of sleep deprivation! — she never knew existed. “I did not know that I had this much patience,” she says.

“I had really underestimated what I was capable of because, before I had him, I thought I needed things that I didn’t really need. I want nine hours of sleep, but it turns out I don’t need it!”

But despite the sudden lack of shuteye, no one will catch the new mama struggling through her time spent with her 16-month-old.

“I’m not cranky during the day because … the excitement of being with him and watching him learn and watching him grow and being a facilitator of those things is so joyful,” Fischer explains.

Try adding another two or three kids and get back to us.

Get back to us when he is 16 years old and not 16 months old. Or more than one child. You might be singing a different tune. I didn’t think there were any “bad” parts to mommyhood either with my first and when all my kids were under 2. But, even with all the headaches and heartaches they have given me over the years I wouldn’t trade it for anything else in the world. Glad she seems to be enjoying her baby.

I think Jenna is doing a wonderful job, and it seems like she genuinely loves her son, which is sometimes rare in Hollywood. I think these two comments are really sad, because not all people have more than one kid. She is a new mother, can’t she be excited about her baby boy? Jenna is one of those women that doesn’t seem fake, and she’s honest. So chill okay? Plus, her kid ISN’T 16 yet. She will cross that bridge when it gets there. Stop being hateful just because she isn’t meeting YOUR expectations. Sheesh.

Kelley, practice what you preach. We are only commenting – it is not set in stone.

Not even sure what you’re getting at with this comment, lovely123.

Having more than one kid will definitely add stress. I’ve got two under 3. Jenna seems like she has a positive attitude, which is essential for happiness as a mom! It’s really easy to get bogged down in negative feelings when our kids our challenging us. I sure have moments of stress/negativity every day. it sounds like she is choosing to focus on the good. Wish I could be that positive all the time!

Kelley, I agree. Every thread has to be filled with snarky, better than you comments. She Has ONE child who she loves and enjoys. Why do people have to find negativity or be down in every post? I read this thinking….ah, such a wonderful post, whatever will the sanctimommies have to say…
