Celeb Moms-to-Be Bump It Up in Jessica Simpson Maternity

01/11/2013 at 10:00 AM ET

With a successful fashion empire (apparel, shoes, accessories and more!) already under her belt, it’s no surprise that Jessica Simpson‘s recently launched maternity collection is also a hit.

Not only is her bump-friendly line selling out in stores, but the expectant designer — she’ll welcome her second child later this year — has also gotten a style stamp of approval from fellow celeb moms-to-be including Malin Akerman and Holly Madison.

While grabbing lunch with her husband in Los Feliz, Calif. Dec. 12, Akerman paired Simpson’s Skinny Leopard Print Pants ($59) with a faux fur trimmed cardigan and black booties. Then, less than two weeks later on Dec. 24, Madison kept cozy in Simpson’s Cable Knit Maternity Sweater ($50), black leggings and matching heeled boots as she shopped for groceries in Hollywood.

Now that the Fashion Star mentor has gone public with her baby news, we definitely expect to see the new mom (she welcomed daughter Maxwell last May) sporting a few of her own chic designs very soon.

Mom Said It

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
