Cue the awwing!

While grocery shopping Dec. 16 in Los Angeles, Ben Affleck and Violet Anne took a break for a quick snuggle.

And once we got our fill of this adorable daddy-daughter moment, we couldn’t help but notice the 7-year-old’s purple knit cap.

After a little digging, we discovered the dimpled darling was wearing Appaman‘s Dumpling Hat in Jolly Grape ($35).

Also available in gray and hot pink, the fun pom pom topper features a cozy fleece lining that makes it itch-free and super warm.

Aww! So cute! Ben seems like a great dad.

SAR on

Awww, that’s sweet. Violet loves her daddy and Ben loves his little girl. The Garner-Afflecks are the most adorable family in Hollywood.

Isn’t it warm in LA? Why are the bundled up like they’re in the Northeast?

“Garner Afflecks”? Not at all trying to be rude but It’s just the “Afflecks” since she has his name legally. If they were not married it WOULD be that way (just like the “Jolie-Pitts”, for instance) but since Ben and Jennifer HAVE done the moral and right thing (since they have kids and all) and are MARRIED, it’s disrespectful to refer to them that way just bc some people choose to have kids out of wedlock and have to hyphenate so please give credit and respect where they’re due.

@Annie, yes, Jennifer changed her name, but professionally she still goes by her maiden name hence why people refer to them as the Garner-Affleck family.

I didn’t change my name when I got married. Does that make me immoral?

why do people have to leave such rude unnecessary comments?

Annie on

@ecl – you completely misunderstood my comment. When I said they did the moral thing I was talking about them being married married. @Amy – Not sure whose comment you were referencing but mine sure wasn’t “rude” at all. I was just saying they deserve to be called the Afflecks because, again, #1 this couple is actually married. and #2 she has his name legally and for all purposes other than her career. The hyphenating is for couples who aren’t married. But the Afflecks are married so they deserve the due respect for that.
