Later in the week, the Argo director, 40, traveled to Washington D.C., where he testified Tuesday at a Capitol Hill hearing on security measures in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where he runs a charitable foundation for the African nation.
In addition to 7-year-old Violet, Affleck and wife Jennifer Garner are also parents to daughter Seraphina, 3½, and son Samuel, 9 months.
