Jeffrey Donovan Welcomes a Daughter

Jeffrey Donovan has a lovely little new costar in his life — a baby girl!

The Burn Notice star, 44, and his wife Michelle are proud parents of their first child, a rep for Donovan tells PEOPLE exclusively.

“She is a healthy and happy baby girl, and we are incredibly blessed to have her in our lives,” the couple say in a statement.

No other details, including their daughter’s name, were immediately available.

A special two-hour season finale of Burn Notice, guest starring Sonja Sohn and Alex Carter, airs this Thursday at 9 p.m. EST on USA.

I never watched the show until a few weeks ago when I started on Netflix with the first episode & loved it! I went on a marathon and am SO hooked- he is gorgeous of course but also very talented. He plays the character so well & is so versatile. Very happy for him & his real life joy. I’m a new fan & wish him & his family the best.

He started dating her when she was 17 and he was 41. (She turned 21 two days before their wedding.) No other details were given, beyond in child’s gender, because he didn’t want anyone to start doing the math. Michelle was about 6 months pregnant when the married. Shotgun wedding anyone? He only made such a public announcement because Gabrielle let it slip, without realizing that he hadn’t attended to say a thing.

Shannon, How many people are going “to start doing the math”??? Holy moley! What a silly post; you are worried about the fact they dated for nearly 4 years, and he’s older than she is? Well my aunt married at 18 to a man who was 54 and the father of 5, several of who were older than she was. They were happily married for at least 39 years and had 2 children. Pardon me for not having a melt-down over Jeffrey and Michelle’s marriage.

Shannon- First of all, we don’t know if she was pregnant at all. They could have adopted for all we know! And second, if she IS 21, she looks VERY mature for her age!

Anyway, congrats to them, and I hope they release the baby’s name soon!

They definitely started dating when she was 17 and he was 41. I just read on another site to google “Jeffrey Donovan, Ed Hardy fashion show.” And sho’enough. 2009, there they are together. She’d turned 17 the month before. Not cute, not cute at all. #gross
