Is there no father in the picture? Like Minnie Driver did? Congrats!

Guest on

Does she have to walk the red carpet for the world to know who her boyfriend is ? He may be some random dude, who doesn’t care for fame and doesn’t want to be in the limelight …

And Minnie Driver’s son DOES have a dad, who’s a tv producer, she just didn’t want to mention for a long time who he was …

Anyway, congrats.

Just wondering if she knows that Calin in french means hug.

Congratulations! I love the name Calin, so cute.

FFS on

It seems there is a father in the picture, hence the “we”.

Calin is just a variant of “Caitlin”.

Guest- Calin means “hug” in French? That’s cute! As for what you said about the father…right on! I especially like what you said about Minnie Driver. Crystal clearly doesn’t follow Minnie much if at all, because if she did, she’d know that Minnie has spoken very highly of her son Henry’s father, who is very involved in his life (in fact, if I’m remembering correctly, Minnie said that Henry’s second word- his first being “mama”- was “dada”! :)).

Anyway, congrats to Samaire and her boyfriend/husband (I agree with others that her statements definitely suggest that there IS a father in the picture)! Calin is an interesting name for a little boy, especially with that spelling (I’ve only ever seen it spelled- for boys- as Kaylen or Kaylin before), but I think it works. :)

Anyone know who it was that released the baby’s name and gender? Her Facebook post doesn’t mention either of those things, and I’m wondering whether or not they (name and gender) came for a reputable source!

nice to read some happy news. After reading about each of the little angls who were killed last week, it’s to see someone happy and able to hold and love their baby. Savor each moment.

Yes, Calin means hug/cuddle in french, and I too think it┬┤s really cute :)

No it’s not, Esther.

Calin is one of the most popular Romanian boys’ names.

Actually, I’m french … so are you telling me that I don’t know my birth language ??

I just saw her last week on The Mentalist and wondered if she was pregnant or not. Seems to be going around the set lately. That’s three actresses on the show so far.

“It was an AHmaaaazing experience and we couldn’t be more thrilled..or it was AHmaaaazing experience and we are OVER the MOON..” I mean really, why does it seem like celebrities all have these ahhhhmazing experiences during childbirth? I have 3 kids and I most definitely must say it was not Ahhhhmazzing..

Congrats

Translate “calin” from French
bing.com/translator
To English: hug

Guest may not be saying you don’t know your birth language. But I am. Boom!

Gal Capone on

My response was to the person saying calin didn’t mean hug in French. I misread….sorry guest. You DO know your birth language. Boom! lol

Diane- I suspect that a lot of celebs DO have difficult birthing experiences (in fact, plenty have even discussed them later on!). But if they announced their baby’s birth by saying something like, “It was a horrible experience and I’m glad it’s over!”, they would get bashed left and right, with people calling them awful parents and what not. i can understand why most choose to play it safe, so to speak. :)

The names of the characters she played and TV shows don’t match up. At all.
