Mini Must-Have: Satyana Denisof’s Festive Frock

‘Tis the season!

On Monday, we spotted an all-dolled up Satyana Denisof enjoying an afternoon of shopping with mom Alyson Hannigan, dad Alexis Denisof and little sister Keeva, 6½ months, at The Grove in West Hollywood.

And we just couldn’t get over the adorableness of the 3½-year-old’s pleated red bib dress (complete with a chic bow tie!) and sparkly ruby red Mary Janes.

Turns out, she’s wearing the Velvet Red Dress ($30) from Harajuku Mini. Although we’re not sure where her pretty flats are from, Tiny Toms Red Glitter Mary Janes ($36) work just as well.

Funny, because I saw this dress at Target a few weeks ago shopping with my “tween” daughter. I thought, “Geez, how provocative, and even sexualized this is.” Really – it was not all all appropriate for a child. It reminds me of something that perhaps a 19 year old might wear….

I actually bought this dress for my almost 5 year old to wear for the holidays, and she got tons of compliments about her outfit. I’m not one to buy the norm for a holiday dress (plaid,gingerbread mean appliques, snowflake designs, etc). My daughter also loves this dress and a lot of the clothes from the harajuku line. I’m not one to follow the cliche, norm for little girl outfits. The bowtie and cream colored rosette design on the bib part makes it even more unique. I am a huge fan of the harajuku line amd of gwen stefani.
