1 Trend, 3 Ways: Mini Fur Vests

12/05/2012 at 11:00 AM ET

Loretta Broderick isn’t the only fur-tastic tot in Hollywood. We recently spotted mini trendsetters Stella McDermott (Dec. 1), Honor Warren (Dec. 3) and Anja Mazur (Dec. 1) rocking stylish fur vests while out and about.

Whether you opt for faux or the real thing, this luxe layering piece is a great way to take your tot’s outfits up a notch. Ready to shop? We’ve rounded up our top picks — for every budget — below.

Splurge

Forget your Mini Me! LIV‘s Fur Vest ($198) is so fancy (it has real fur and suede fringe trim!), it’s a shame it doesn’t come in grown-up sizes.

Affordable

We love how Honor (above) layered babyGap‘s Favorite Fur Vest ($30) under her wool coat for extra warmth. It would look equally as cute over a long sleeve blouse, skinny jeans and cute riding boots.

Bargain Buy

Don’t want to break the bank? Gymboree‘s cropped Faux Fur Vest ($18) has the same chic feel without the hefty price tag.

Cute vests, but I can’t believe you are promoting real fur vests. I thought this was a thing of the past as now it is definitely looked down upon in society to wear real fur. Please do not promote animal cruelty, especially on a family friendly site like this.

Julie, I agree, especially since man made materials are now soft and cuddly.

Honor is so cute

Oh people.com, you have lost me on this one. I used to love coming to your site for a browse but after seeing you promote real fur as “fancy”, I will not be back. If you actually took the time to find out how they “harvest” fur, you would seriously re-think your recommendations. Shame on you.

Way to sponsor animal cruelty.

Does anyone else find these looks to be odd? They’re like miniature women. Let them be kids- not fashionistas.

Stella is adorable. The cutest of the 3 girls. Hate the real fur vests. Wear faux only.

Very dissapointed that this website would actually promote skinning animals alive, especially for children’s wear. Ignorance is abundant I see.

“it’s a shame it doesn’t come in grown-up sizes.”

Really now? Very disappointed that this site promotes fur wearing.
