Funnyman Rob Schneider has a new little lady to keep laughing.

The Deuce Bigalow actor and his wife, television producer Patricia, welcomed daughter Miranda Scarlett Schneider at 8:59 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, his manager confirms to PEOPLE.

She weighed in at 5 lbs., 13 oz. and is 18 inches long.

“Mommy and Baby [are] happy and healthy!” Schneider, 49, Tweeted.

Miranda — who was born following 19 hours of labor — is the first child together for the couple, who wed in April 2011. Schneider is also father to daughter Elle, 23, from his prior marriage to London King.

His wife is beautiful. Congrats!

klutzy_girl on

Congratulations to them! That is a great name. (Scarlett is one of my favorite names, and it’s really pretty.)

Anonymous on

Congrats to them, and I love the name! Also, did they ever announce the pregnancy? I can’t seem to recall seeing it on here, but maybe I was just half-asleep that day or something. ;)

Bree on

Congrats!! Love the name.

She is tiny though!! A little over half the size of my nephew when he was born (Although he was a big boy!!) Wonder if she was early or anything being that small.

Either way congrats to the new family :)

Momofsdg on

Beautiful name…now, onto the important stuff…19hours of labor = realllly nice push present! ;)

tanya on

What a pretty name!

jasmineflowerr on

Miranda Scarlett is a pretty awesome name…congrats!!

shidley on

His wife is a stunner… Congrats on the baby. Such a petite girl. I’ll bet she’s a real cutie!

Brianne on

Congrats, Rob and Patricia! Love the name!!!

CCEx on

The idea of a push present, as was suggested by a pp, is asinine. The baby is your present. Duh.

THANK GOD! a baby with normal beautiful name! Congrats

RKF on

Wow, his wife is gorgeous, and I love the baby’s name.

anna on

I am sure their little baby was the greatest gift of all. What kind of mother would be thinking of anything but her new baby right after birth.

Holiday on

Love the name!

I don’t get all the hate for push presents. As long as they aren’t lavish, expensive, or expected (I agree that a laboring or new mom should be focused on the baby and not on herself!), I find them rather touching and romantic!

Anonymous on

Also, considering the fact that Momofsdg put a ;) at the end of her comment, it’s a pretty safe bet she was joking!

Tanya R. on

I even have no idea Patricia was pregnant! Congrats! The name Miranda is so great but to sorry is forgotten name.

nicole on

I sat next to Rob in an airport waiting for our flight, very private, quiet and a little fella. He seemed like a gentle soul. Nice to know he has a woman and now a little baby, better late than never.

Lissa on

Oh for goodness sake get off your pedestal and lighten up.

I think the wink-smiley face in their comment was to imply that they were being sarcastic… and after 30 hours of labor with my daughter, I jokingly said the same thing to my boyfriend.

Heather on

That’s his 23 year old daughter with him, right?

Heather on

And I hate to be a Debbie Downer here but when they say 19 hrs of labor they mean from the first twitch until delivery, not 19 hrs in stirrups of active labor. As a mom of four I never understood the need to exaggerate that. Is it to be able to make your husband guilty and throw in your child’s face when they’re a teen?

Emily on

I bet she is beautiful! Congrats!

JustMe on

I’m with y’all – a NORMAL but not overused name, phew!

kjc on

He’s 49? Huh, that shouldn’t surprise me, but for some reason it does.

Anyways, congrats to Rob and his wife on their tiny baby girl!

Love her name, how beautiful!! Congratulations!!

CABL on

Wow, she is gorgeous! Congrats :)

Miranda is my daughter’s middle name!! She will love this!! Bruce Bigelow is Giggalo no more!! Congrats on a healthy baby!!

whoknew on

Thank you for the NORMAL name Rob. Love it!

Tori on

Love Rob and wish him all the best. He’s got a beautiful wife and I’m sure an adorable new baby girl! Congrats on the lovely name as well!

Julianna on

What a pretty name!

jenny on

Of course the baby is the present…in my eyes a “push” present is more of a gift to show the appreciation of what the women went through for 9 months AND the delivery process. If my husband was the one that went through the hard stuff for us BOTH to have our baby I would get him something special.

Idaho on

Congratulations Rob & Patricia!!

maggie on

congrats Rob and Patricia on your new baby girl beautiful name

meghan on

Thank you for explaining labor for us Heather. Do you really think that anyone here thought she was pushing for NINETEEN HOURS??? Most people include all stages of labor in the final tally.

Lisa B on

Yay, congrats to the growing family! I’m a Rob fan, and I have no doubt there will be plenty of cute little baby giggles going on in that household! :)

Sharon on

What a beautiful name…finally!! Congrats and best wishes to them :)

oowedlock on

lol, boyfriend.

oowedlock on

I thought the same exact thing.

they always give the man’s age but never the much obviously younger woman’s.

CJ on

Thanks to Rob for all his help trying to defeat the bill AB 2109! The fight isn’t over! Congrats on the baby! I bet she’s adorable!

Towlie22 on

The funniest part of this article is when the author repeatedly refers to Mr. Schneider as not only a Funnyman but an actor.

Anonymous on

oowedlock- Actually, they usually DO list both parents’ ages. I’m guessing in this case they don’t know the mother’s age. And she may not be “much younger” than him. More and more women are having their first child in their early 40s these days, so she may be only a few years younger than him for all we know (and remember that you can’t always tell a person’s age from pictures. Some people look a lot younger or older than they really are!).

Lynne on

Nineteen hours of labor? I hope that child is OK. That’s very trying on the infant and especially one less than 6 lbs. . BTW, love the name.

RobThom on

Rob Shneider’s wife is hot.

Good for him, they look cute together.

Anonymous on

Lynne- The article quotes Rob as saying that “mommy and baby are happy and healthy”, so I don’t think we need to worry about the labor having an adverse affect on the baby. ;)

Also, 19 hours is actually on the shorter side for a first labor. It’s not uncommon for first time mothers to be in labor for a full day (i.e. 24 hours) or more…virtually always without any ill effects to the baby (unless there are complications, of course!). :)

shannon on

OMG someone slept with Robschneider?

Neil on

So basically his wife is similar in age to his daughter? Sick.

princessesmom on

awww..I always love the names Valeria, Carolina and Miranda, so my first girl is Valeria and second one is Carolina, I got pregnant of my third child and instead of Miranda I have an Alejandro :) …hopefully they give me a grandchild named Miranda

bdawn8403 on

She isn’t small, she’s a normal size baby. Babies aren’t and shouldn’t be gigantic 10+ lbs.

Brianne on

Congrats, Schneider! I’ve been a fan of yours for years, so thanks for more laughs than I can even count! Love the baby’s name, and maybe we can see a picture of her soon! Once again, congrats!!!
