@Joan…..that doesn’t look like an expensive party at all.

You can do a great party for $150.00 to $200.00….take advantage of stores like Dollar Tree and party Dollar for accessories….it’s not that hard to throw an inexpensive and great kids party.

Children’s birthday parties are out of control these days–in L.A. at least. When I was a child, my parents made me a cake and I had over about a dozen friends (whose parents actually left them at the party). The party was in our backyard, we had a pinata and other games, then we played, and then everyone went home. Simple, good times. No candy bars, moon bounces, petting zoos, etc. and they were much more fun.

I totally agree Ava. So over the top, Every parent trying to out do the last party by making it ever so grand. By the way, there is too much gum in that jar. Kids will be really sugared up with all that junk.
