There’s a baby in there!

Kristen Bell — who confirmed Monday morning that she’s expecting her first child with fiancé Dax Shepard — showed the smallest glimpse of a bump while shopping at The Americana at Brand in Glendale, Calif. on Tuesday.

The House of Lies star, 32, “had a little bit of morning sickness early on but is feeling great now,” a close friend tells PEOPLE.

Bell — who rocked an Express Crinkle Knit Moto Jacket on the outing — and Shepard, who stars on Parenthood, expect their baby in late spring.

The couple began dating in 2007 and became engaged over the 2009 holidays.

Kristen- I have to respectfully disagree. Assuming “late spring” means April or May, she’s around three or four months along, and most women are showing by then.

Anyway, congrats to her and Dax! Being that one (Kristen) has a fairly common, classical name and the other (Dax) has a very UNCOMMON (at least here in the states), unusual name, I’m very curious to see what they name the baby!

Actually, Sara is only PARTLY right. What she is carrying is a fetus – its not considered a baby or a separate human being until Kristen delivers.

You don’t have to take a biology class to know that – it’s common sense and common knowledge.

HOWEVER, I will agree that when Sara said that Kristen could abort her unborn fetus, that was VERY LOW & VERY DISGUSTING.

Actually, in many states, a fetus is considered a baby from the time it can live outside the uterus. So, if a baby can survive outside the womb at about +/- 30 weeks, it will be considered a baby.

Autumn- When you say a fetus can be considered a baby as soon as it can survive outside the womb, do you mean with or without medical intervention? Because if it’s the former, then you could potentially consider a fetus as young as 22 weeks or so a baby (the most premature baby ever to survive, as I recall, was born just one day shy of that).

If it’s the latter, though, then 30 weeks would probably be about right. I’m NOT nit-picking, I assure you. I’m honestly curious as to what you meant.

dorie- Obama is pro-CHOICE, not pro-abortion. There is a difference (pro-choice means you support a woman’s right to choose what to do or not do with her own body. Pro-abortion, on the other hand…well, that would mean that you think every woman with a certain set of circumstances should have her baby aborted and or that every baby with certain issues should be aborted!).

I’m not pro-choice either, but I think it’s a bit extreme to say that Obama actually advocates killing babies!
