Modern Family‘s cast and crew won big Sunday night at the 2012 Emmy Awards. And that includes its littlest star, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons.
Joining the sea of gorgeous gowns on the red carpet, the 5-year-old — who plays Lily on the hit show — looked absolutely adorable while posing for photos in her custom-made silk dress from Tea Collection.
Before the big night, the kiddie-chic brand worked closely with the mini starlet, who joined the cast on stage to accept their third win for Outstanding Comedy Series, to create a kid-friendly gown that captured both their timeless signature style and the actress’s sweet disposition.
“We started with our iconic wrap neckline styling and created a bubble in the skirt for fun, matching Aubrey’s playful personality,” Tea Collection’s co-founder Emily Meyer tells PEOPLE.
“Then we added a sash similar to one we had seen on the traditional Korean costume, called a hambok. The sash captivated Aubrey and the wrap neckline was gorgeous on her — elegant and youthful.”
It seems as if Aubrey was equally enamored with her gorgeous frock. “[My favorite part is] the sash because it makes me feel fancy!” she told Good Morning America during an interview.
Throughout the evening, Aubrey had no qualms about showing off her designer dress — or her famous friends! After posing with co-star Sofia Vergara — who wowed in a Zuhair Murad gown — the actress cuddled up to onscreen dad Eric Stonestreet, who nabbed his own Emmy for Best Supporting Actor.
