Sara Rue Expecting First Child

There’s a baby on the way for Sara Rue!

The Rules of Engagement star, 33, and her husband Kevin Price are expecting their first child, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

Due early next year, Rue — who debuted her baby belly in a black wrap dress during ABC’s fall preview party in Beverly Hills on Tuesday — has yet to find out the sex of her baby on the way.

“Over the moon to announce my pregnancy! My bump will be doing its first red carpet tonight,” she Tweeted earlier in the day. “In the second tri, over the morning sickness phase, due early next year!”

In 2010, the then bride-to-be became the spokeswoman for Jenny Craig and lost over 50 lbs. before tying the knot with Price in Pacific Palisades, Calif. in May 2011.

Rue will next appear opposite Reba McEntire on Malibu Country, premiering in November on ABC.

I became acquainted with Sara and had looked forward to meeting her; unfortunately, she is a huge spoiled brat and I was extremely disappointed. I guess that’s why they call it “acting.” I was SO let down. Really and truly nothing like the nice characters she plays on TV. Sigh.
