Actress and mom of three (with a fourth on the way!) Tori Spelling knows what it takes to have great style, whether it’s throwing fab birthday parties for her little ones or expertly dressing her baby bump. Naturally, she’s now lending her talents to Little Maven BY TORI SPELLING, a clothing line for newborns, infants and toddlers that launches exclusively at jcpenney stores and online, Sept. 1.

Her mission? To modernize well-dressed babes. “I searched everywhere and found it hard to believe that most baby clothes are still pastels with boring prints. I knew right away I wanted my babies in bright pops of color and fun, bold prints,” Spelling tells PEOPLE.

The collection — an eclectic combination of Hollywood chic and beachside casual with lots of functionality — includes all the boy and girl basics: cute tunic and legging sets, printed blankets, jumpsuits with snap-on socks, sleepers with snap-on bibs, gowns and hats, and three-piece cardigan sets. Best of all, the sweet separates (layette for newborn to 9 months and playwear for 6 to 24 months) come at a friendly price point of $12 to $20.

As for the line’s inspiration, Spelling looked to her own pint-sized fashion mavens — her kids. “Stella even weighs in on the designs. Hattie is the perfect model, while Liam always wants everything to be cozy,” she says. “I made sure all the clothes are comfortable, but also chic.”

Please tell me that the clothesline goes beyond 24 months.

Hmm the clothes look cute, I usually don’t go for celeb lines but I will def be looking for these in September.

She has been doing this line for years…Its just now getting out or is it a relaunch for the masses??

Oh my gosh, those are adorable!

Tori should go international. Us Canadians would love to buy too!

So cute. I hope she expands it to larger sizes as her kids grow. Mine aren’t toddler sized anymore!

Huh?? I have a bunch of Little Maven stuff from the last time she tried it. It was cute but overpriced (I think I got it at the going out of biz sale). Perhaps it will last longer this time.

LOVE these! I hope they go larger than 24 months though! My 2 yr old wears 4T

Love that she’s launching a children’s line of clothing. She has such great taste in everything else she does. These kids clothes are adorable. Love that she factored comfort into it too. Very resonably priced. Our nephews and nieces will be decked out in all things Little Maven. Great job, Tori!

I’d dress my son in that sweater, for sure. Super cute, and prices look very reasonable!

Call my frugal, but I’m a big believer in comfy inexpensive clothing for baby clothes. I do like organic options when possible. Plus, I find grandparents, friends, and others will give great baby gifts. Plus, friends and family often give outgrown clothes that are barely worn. I usually shopped H & M baby, or target. But for Mom’s with no budget, I say buy what you want!

I bought my daughter a really cute swimsuit last summer from Tori’s ‘Little Maven’ line, it was so cute. White with a Spanish style teal and lime green design. I was sad to see her website was out of service since then so it’s nice to know she’s coming back through JCP.

I actually like these. I’m shocked. 🙂

Baby clothes dull and boring so she wanted to do pops of color?

Has she ever seen Carters clothes? They have already beat her to the fun prints and bright patterns, at a much more reasonable price.

Most of Carter’s prints are ghastly!!! I really like these..hopefully she’ll have them up to size 4..my 3 year old is just getting into a 2 T…yes she’s tiny!

So happy that Tory is reintroducing her clothing line again. I bought a lot of Little Maven clothes for my 3 kids and am excited to see her cute styles at a lower price point. I would also love to see the clothes in larger sizes as my kids are 6, 4, and 18 months

Those brightly colored chevron prints are a clear ripoff of Missoni’s signature prints. I hope they sue her for stealing their designs!

@TLC: Carters clothes are tasteful.

I’m finding Tori’s line gaudy and kind of tacky. But then, I’m not surprised, she’s never dressed her children or herself well.

I love all the colors!

tlc…I agree…have always LOVED Carter’s for my kids, also The Children’s Place and for my daughter (who is now 6) I love Matilda Jane…it is the cutest and sweetest line of girls clothing I have ever seen. Well, at least she is putting this line in a JC Penney’s store, which us average folk can afford…lol…I am not totally loving what I see here, reminds me of the Missoni stuff from Target, but I do think Tori has great style…so good for her!

Isnt’ she a mom of 4 expecting her 5th?!

I have really noticed that credit improvement activity has to be conducted with techniques. If not, it’s possible you’ll find yourself damaging your ranking. In order to grow into success fixing your credit history you have to make sure that from this moment you pay your complete monthly expenses promptly in advance of their booked date. It’s really significant given that by never accomplishing this, all other moves that you will take to improve your credit ranking will not be successful. Thanks for revealing your thoughts.
