Life’s a (stylish!) beach for Nahla Aubry!

While running along the Malibu surf with mom Halle Berry on June 21, the 4-year-old looked oh-so-sweet as she splashed in the water and ran from the waves.

Keeping it cozy while having some fun in the sun, Nahla wore R’Belle‘s Hooded Jumper ($120) and polka dot leggings ($100).

Love her sandy chic? You’re in luck. We’ve rounded up similar items — all under $24!

Nahla looks so much older than 4!

I’m sorry but who spends $100 on leggings. I don’t care if I had just as much money or more than Halle thats just Stupid!

Jonella on

Nahla is so beautiful! :)

Abi on

She is a beautiful child! I agree though $100 for leggings is a crime, but they have the money and $100 for them is like $10 for us.

Joyful on

So the designers, fabric makers, stores who supply and all the overhead to owning business and doing something to make honest money in this life is bad? For every $100 dollars spent, by those who can afford it, a sales person has a job, a seamtress, a realtor, insurance clerks who will insure the stores that sell, and on and on! If you do not have the funds so be it! But it not a crime to create expensive clothes for kids and to buy expensive! Halle, like many folks, myself included, give quality gently worn clothes to Good Will! My daughter outgrew her expensive stuff, not wear it out! I never give rags, or busted zippers, or any clothes that cannot look good on the next little girl! Yes I spend that type of money! And those moms who are smart to go to GoodWill Stores just love that we do spend and give a way nice clothes!!!!It can be from Walmarts people just give away gently worn clothes to help! But do not be against expensive clothes! Resell shops are small business owners and more business owners helps our economy or so many charitable org.

I think we get that $100 for a celeb is like @10 for us non-celebs, but honestly even if most non-celebs had the money who would spend that much on kids clothes?

Anonymous on

Joyfull, you couldn’t say it better. The more the celebs spend, the more money out of that amount other people get. They will not take the money to teh grave when they die, so might as well share with others.

Ava on

Joyful, I never thought of it that way! Thanks :)

I’ll never understand why celebrities spend so much on their kids’ clothes. $100 on leggings is WAY too much. I’d rather buy my kids ten leggings for that much. And Nahla is 4 years old – she’s going to get dirty!

Shannon on

she’s adorable

More times ten not the designers give celebrities freebees, just so people and other outlets report it. You’d be surprised what people with money will pay for things. smh

Iris on

I think the bigger question is why is a pair of kid’s leggings $100? Nahla’s 4 – it’s not like it takes a lot of fabric to cover her legs. The hoodie too ($120?)

What the heck are they made out of? Are they hand sewn or something?

Shannon on

No wonder Gabriel gets $20k a month: so he can afford her clothes! :)

mama308 on

There are lots of child sponsorship organizations where $38 a month clothes, feeds and educates a child. For the price of the leggings, you could sponsor two kids per month and still have money left over to buy your child a couple pairs of leggings from Old Navy. You can’t justify it – $100 for leggings is ridiculous.

Nina on

Halle doesn’t pay a $100 for leggings. She actually gets these clothes for free. Free advertising at it’s best.

J-Lin on

No one has to justify what they do for their child. If Halle wants to spend $100 for leggings, who are you to question it? When did it become her job to take care of the world? What are you doing to support others.

kimmie on

J-Lin, agree, you couldn’t say it better!

@mama308, I too want to know what are you doing to help others.

I wouldn’t have made the suggestion if I couldn’t back it up with personal experience. Our family sponsors two children. My kids get clothes from re-sale shops, Target or Old Navy. And lots of hand-me-downs from friends/family.

I am sure Halle Berry does a great deal of good. And, as many have pointed out, the clothing was likely given to them by the company. I’d be more likely to purchase from a company that gives clothing to kids in need rather than celebrities (like TOMS).

My point is that as Americans we are some of the most privileged people in the world. We need to think more carefully about how we spend our money. Besides preventing ourselves from going into debt and being wasteful, we could be more generous and help those who have way, way less than us.

I’m not perfect. I’ve made wasteful purchases. But I’m starting to think more carefully and responsibly. My comment wasn’t meant to offend. Just to make us think about how we can ease the burden of others.

yay to the comment above mentioning second-hand clothing. i buy all my kids clothing (except underwear and socks) from garage sales in my neighborhood. we live in a rather affluent area and i get some pretty high-end stuff. cheaper does not always mean a better solution anyway, since many companies manufacture in third world areas where workers are paid next to nothing and treated horribly. kids outgrow everything; buy used!

cn tower on

Despite being millionaires, many celebs are actually pretty frugal. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the more extravagant clothes – like this outfit – were gifted to Halle by the company.

Mira on

What are you guys smoking, calling this child beautiful and stunning. She’s totally average.

Qt on

The kid is a perfect mix of her parents, so pretty.

What are you smoking Mira? Hating on a kid. Post your pic if your all that.
