It’s a boy for The Civil Wars‘s Joy Williams!

The duo’s female half — pictured here with bandmate John Paul White — and her husband Nate Yetton welcomed a son, Miles Alexander, on Saturday, June 30 in Nashville, she announced via Twitter.

“Now I really know what love at first sight means after meeting my son, Miles Alexander,” Williams, 29, writes. “Born yesterday, all happy and healthy. xo”

The musician announced her pregnancy in February, just before she and White picked up awards for best folk album and best country duo/group performance at the Grammys.

My nephew’s name is Miles. Not that I’m biased or anything, but it is SUCH a lovely name. Even before my nephew was born, I loved that name.
