On-the-go mom Selma Blair coordinates outfits with her 10-month-old son Arthur Saint while out and about in Los Angeles on Thursday.

“I never want to leave his side,” the Anger Management actress, 39, told PEOPLE recently.

“I’m one of those hovering mothers and I know it’s really important to have an independent child, so I’m trying to back off, but it’s hard. I love him so much, and he’s so funny and cute to me.”

Arthur is the first child for Blair and boyfriend Jason Bleick.

Smother him all you want, he will be independent! Everyone told me my kids would be clingy and afraid of strangers…ha! They are very independent! What makes them independent is your love and attentiveness for him.

She’s small, so I’m not surprised. I saw on another site (maybe here? can’t recall) that he’s WALKING! It’s a little disconcerting when they are barely knee high yet mobile.
