Tom Cruise: I’m Happy with Three Kids

Three is enough for Tom Cruise.

The Rock of Ages star, who is dad to Suri, 6, with wife Katie Holmes, and Connor, 17, and Bella, 19, with ex-wife Nicole Kidman, says he’s not planning to add to his family anytime soon.

“I’m so happy with three,” he tells PEOPLE in an exclusive new interview.

The iconic star, who turns 50 on July 3, plans to spend his birthday with his family while shooting the movie Oblivion in Iceland. For Cruise, time with his loved ones is all the celebration he needs for his major milestone.

“I’m enjoying every second with Suri that I have. And I’m enjoying the relationship with my older kids, and the way it is right now,” he adds.

Rock of Ages opens June 15.

I like Tom Cruise. He had a few crazy moments years and years ago, but I think he gets too much flack from it still.

I don’t agree with many of his life choices (ie-Scientology) but I think he is a great actor and loving and devoted father. I’d love to see Tom and Katie have another baby, but my guess is if they don’t do it soon, they won’t do it at all.

The reason there are only 4 comments is because he mentioned that he has THREE kids so nobody can bash him about that!!! I believe he is a great father hope to see more pictures of the whole family

I would have to echo the sentiments of kjc. We’ve probably all clouded our perception of him after a few weird moments he had some years ago. He seems like a pretty good guy on the whole and a great Dad.

No matter what he does or says people will always criticize him. Just because of different religion choice people are against him. I personally think he has some good movies (some worse) personally he is not my favorite actor but he seems to be less crazy than people make him look
