Like mother, like sons?

Sporting tank tops and necklaces, Gwen Stefani and her little guys — sons Kingston, 6, and Zuma, 3½ — attend the 23rd Annual Time for Heroes Celebrity Picnic, held Sunday at Wadsworth Theater in Los Angeles.

The event benefitted the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

With husband Gavin Rossdale currently on the road with Bush, Stefani and her band recently announced their own big news — the latest No Doubt record will be released Sept. 25.

Gwen looks different. Do they dye Kingston’s hair?

Cute kids. All I can think of though when I see them is past articles where its reported she dyes the kids hair. I just dont know about bleaching kids hair. No just coloring but BLEACHING. It does make you wonder why….

Yes, they dye Kingston’s hair. Not sure why. Bleaching at that age is I’m sure very damaging to hair. But with boys you can buzz them bald and let it regrow. She looks fabulous. Doesn’t look like she had 2 kids.

Dying your kids hair this young to me just tells the child that how they look naturally is not good enough.

Putting funky washable colors in for fun is one thing completely altering your childs appearance.

It’s sad that Kingston and Zuma will grow up thinking that this kind of style their mother puts them in is good looking!!

Cute photo! Kingston is a mini Gavin and Zuma is a mini Gwen! Love their funky, laid-back, rocker style- I am not cool enough to pull that look off though, but I still love it! Who knows why Kingston has his hair bleached…maybe he just wanted to look like his mom since she bleaches her hair? I have no idea if it’s safe or good or not. I have to believe that Gwen wouldn’t ever do anything to hurt her kids, so I tend to think it is safe and isn’t a reflection of Kingston not being good enough just the way he is.

Again, just because Kingston has dark roots does not mean his parents dye his hair. i am not saying they don’t, i don’t know if they do, i am just saying that the dark roots and blond hair thing is not proof that his hair has been dyed. my nephew has basically exactly the same looking hair as kingston and i know his parents don’t dye his hair.

JM, there were pictures of him with brown hair less than a month ago, now he’s platinum blond. They bleach his hair.

he probably wants the same color hair as his mom, jeez. Raise your own kids people 😉

Ok so let me get this straight. If my children want to go get a tattoo or a piercing just so they can look like me I should just let them?…..Get real!! This is why kids are the way they are today because they dictate to their parents what they want instead of their parents telling them no. Hair dye is a chemical. Although relatively safe when placed on one’s head it’s still something toxic to breathe in. Who would subject thier child to that all because HE wants to have colored hair like his mother!

And it is very possible his hair is lighter bc of the sun. But I am about certain that if it isn’t dyed now it has been in the past. Whatever one chooses to do with their child is their business. But no way in hell is my child going to have his/her hair chemically altered.

Zuma has had that hair since he was born. Definately not dyed. Kingston is definately dyed. But whatever.

Those kids will always be cooler than me.

the boys look like they’d rather be someplace else… playing perhaps?
