BumpWatch: Reese Witherspoon’s Sweet Treat

Mom-to-be Reese Witherspoon presided over a big day of extended family fun – complete with cheeseburgers, ice cream and even hair makeovers – over the weekend.

The expectant actress was hanging out with children Ava, 12, and Deacon, 8½, at the Kidstock Music and Arts Festival held at Beverly Hills’s Greystone Mansion, which benefits the One Voice and the One Voice Scholars Program.

Joined by hubby Jim Toth, her brother (and his two girls), Witherspoon rubbed her pregnant belly and smiled widely as her kids enjoyed some musical entertainment by Jim Belushi‘s daughter, Jamison.

Later, the whole family moved over to the Drybar station, where the younger girls got their hair done. (Ava got pink streaks and glitter put in!)

Then it was time for some food: specifically cheeseburger sliders, chicken skewers and some French fries for Reese.

Her husband was very attentive (and affectionate), making sure she was well-fed, according to onlookers. And the two enjoyed an especially sweet – literally – moment, sharing a bite of Baskin-Robbins ice cream together.

I hope Reese and Jim have a little baby girl! I am wondering if she is going to keep this delivery a surprise or has she said she is going to let us know what she is having? I haven’t heard anything. Anyways, she makes a beautiful pregnant woman. So petite and cute.

Whether she has a Girl or Boy is not the important thing. Having Either sex is such a blessing. The health of the baby should be any expectant parents main concern. And who cares if she and Jim want to find out the sex or not. Delivery surprises are the best!!!

JLL – I’ve honestly never understood that reaction. Does anybody really believe that, when somebody says they hope they have a boy/girl, they would prefer to have an unhealthy girl vs. a healthy boy? I believe that the parents hoping for good health for their baby is ALWAYS a given, and they have a right to imagine what sex their baby might be or have a slight preference for an older boy/girl, whatever.

JLL you cannot say one thing is best over another one. It’s each parents’ personal decision. we chose a delivery surprise as well but each has its own benefits. You need to educate yourself a bit.

JLL, Sandra didn’t say that knowing the baby’s sex was more important than having a healthy baby! She simply asked a question. There was no reason for you to be ugly towards her!
