Enough already with “bump”! Grow up and say belly or pregnancy or anything except bump. I’m gonna puke!

I don’t get the big deal about the term “baby bump”? Isn’t that basically what it is, a bump being made by the baby? I also want to point out that there would probably be peopling complaining no matter what term PEOPLE used (I’ve seen people saying, for example, that they hate the term “belly”, because it sounds childish to them). You can’t please everyone all the time, and I’m glad that PEOPLE seems to realize that rather than going over the top trying to make everyone happy!

As for Anna, she looks great, and I agree with others that she’s not really showing yet. My guess is that she’s due in either early November or late October, which would put her at around three months now (the original announcement post said “fall”, which means anywhere from September to November. But being that she’s not showing, I can’t imagine her being due any earlier than late October!).

I wonder if she’ll have a Halloween baby (which would be quite fitting, considering she’s part of a TV series about vampires!)? πŸ™‚

That’s not a bump, and I doubt she was “debuting” it. Good grief.

I never refered to my growing tummy a bump and don’t know anyone that did. It’s a stupid name for it. Anonymous, have you had been pregnant? What did you call your belly? I am guessing you haven’t by your posts on here πŸ™‚ Everytime I have been pregnant, my friends and family were excited to see me. They never said, when can we come over to see your bump! I bet it looks cute! Oh my, thank goodness they are normal!!

hmmmmmmm on

Jillian- yet you use the word “tummy” and you’re a adult? lol.

J on

Yes, because a smiley face after a snide comment to another person makes it all better…

boohoobytch on

congrats to them πŸ™‚

Just My 2 Cents on

I hope she comes back to Nz to have the baby.

canada girl on

She looks super cute in the dress!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…it’s better than my midwife who called it a “mound”. That was just creepy.

robby on

That is perhaps the most visibly stunning baby bump I have ever seen. Look at the perfectly round shape. The circumference of the bump is in direct proportion to both her eyes and her right nostril, and this indicates that she is carrying a boy. I am so inspired by this beautiful bump that I decided one hour ago to hit myself in the forehead with a hammer to see if I can create a similar bump of my own.

Sara on

Although I am so happy for the couple, there is no baby bump yet. It totally annoys me when tabloids find out a celeb is expecting and they immediately start looking for a bump. I am 26 weeks pregnant and am just now being recognized as having a bump. I’m not sure how far along she is, but according to babycenter.com, if she is just entering her 2nd trimester (which is when most people come out to the public) her baby would only be about the size of a lemon.

Carolyn on

I do not understand why anyone thinks she’s beautiful. She is pasty and unattractive. And those teeth!

heather on

i don’t see anything.

BABY BUMP, BABY BUMP, BABY BUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Geez people are too damn sensitive. Get over it. Is it really affecting you in life?!?!

Miss Kiki on

Give it a rest about the baby bump phrase, if you don’t like it stop reading these kind of crap gossip sites and just SHUT UP ALREADY!

Amy on

It’s a pregnant stomach, not a bump. That phrase is so classless and trashy.

Melissa on

She looks gorgeous!! love her!

DJo on

What about ‘Baby Pudge’ or God’s most awesome gift to a woman! Congrats on your most wonderful gift!

Nikkie on

Kat…You wasted your time coming on here just to say she looks scary? America REALLY needs to gain back some jobs, so people have meaningful things to do to fill their time.

sally on

I assume the baby bump is there, but I am not seeing it. Looks like she is arching her back! Guess she is trying to look pregnant!

Vanessa on

Congrats to her!! I just love her in True Blood πŸ™‚ As to people being offended by such an endearing term as “baby bump,” lighten up!! There are far more worse things to be upset about going on in our world right now.

Tara on

As a pregnant woman I do not in the very least find the term “baby bump” offensive or trashy or classless. Why don’t we get angry about other things, like women’s rights being threatened or the growing defecit in education or the fact that one of the most popular television shows among teenagers is 16 & Pregnant? Oh, that’s right, because we’re Americans and we like to pick battles that don’t have flip to do with anything and say we’re making a difference.

I am happy for any couple who is having a little one, but People, I don’t see a bump just yet. Just because a celeb announces they’re expecting it doesn’t necessarily mean that the next time they’re in public they’re debuting a bump. Just my two cents.

Amanda K on

She looks great but she is not showing yet.

Hey, at least they didn’t say what my grandfather always (jokingly, and quietly so that only his dining/shopping/whatever companions could hear!) said when he saw a woman who was obviously pregnant: “She swallowed a watermelon!” πŸ˜‰

I love you anna!! congrats on your baby vampire!1 πŸ™‚ I am sure stephen will make a great father!!!
