The former Punky Brewster star, 35, is sharing some of her favorite family-friendly travel destinations (and personal photos) — both at home in Los Angeles and abroad — on the new travel site Trippy.com.
On the high end of her travel choices, Frye suggests the Four Seasons in Punta Mita, Mexico as a “completely kid friendly” hotel where the whole family can relax — as is evident from her picture lounging the beach with her daughters, Poet Sienna Rose, 6½, and Jagger Joseph Blue, who turns 4 this month. “We absolutely love it,” she says.
Closer to home, the Happy Chaos author recommends a family day at the historic Spanish Olvera Street in Los Angeles where she herself used to go as a child. “It’s super nostalgic for me,” explains Frye, who describes the street as “a great place to take family, walk around, escape into mini getaway.”
And for more local culture, she often spends time with her family on the expansive grounds of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, where she recommends having a picnic and visiting the La Brea Tar Pits.
