Leave it up to famed designer Diane von Furstenberg to bring out Hollywood’s most stylish moms (and their kids!) for a day of style.
On Saturday, Molly Sims, Milla Jovovich, Tiffani Thiessen, Jessica Capshaw, Busy Philipps, Alyson Hannigan, Constance Zimmer and Courtney Mazza attended the launch of the GapKids + DVF Collection at The Grove’s Gap boutique in L.A.
Guests — big and small — were able to shop the line before it hits stores and online on March 15, as well as enjoy some balloon art and paper doll making.
There was even a special runway so that pint-size attendees could strut their stuff in the designer’s pieces and have their photo taken on the catwalk.

Exclusively for girls ranging from newborn to 14, the collection features signature silhouettes (shifts, wrap dresses, rompers) in bold-colored, iconic DVF prints that are from the designer’s archive.
“I am thrilled to collaborate with Gap on this playful collection for girls,” von Furstenberg told PEOPLE. “It is timeless…colorful…effortless. It’s very DVF!”
So far, one of our fave pieces is the blue and white T-shirt dress Milla’s daughter Ever wore at the event.

Known for her timeless wrap-dress for grown-up women, the designer was a tad reluctant to try her hand at children’s clothing.
“When Gap first came to me, I said no,” she revealed.
But after rethinking her initial decision, von Furstenberg jumped at the chance to create a stylish girls line.
“I wanted something that was very core to the brand and that was fun and optimistic that mothers and their kids would love. I’m very happy with the results.”
