Celeb Style: Best Dressed Bumps at the Oscars

When it came to dressing for the Oscars, Alessandra Ambrósio‘s main goal was comfort.

“Some of the dresses didn’t fit me so we went for bigger sizes,” the model mom-to-be, who attended the 20th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party, told PEOPLE. “[But] in the end it all worked. This one is very comfortable on the red carpet.”

After a few adjustments, Ambrosio decided on a blush-colored, jewel-encrusted gown by Roberto Cavalli paired with Salvatore Ferragamo heels and Martin Katz diamonds.

On the other hand, Molly Sims opted for a red hot, kimono-style Azzaro dress and black patent Christian Louboutin pumps for the Vanity Fair Oscar party.

The expectant model/actress even Tweeted a candid photo of her lovely ensemble before heading out for the festivities. “Beautiful day for the Oscars! Here’s a full look at my Azzaro dress and baby bump!”

Kourtney Kardashian was a vision in white at Elton John’s viewing party. The soon-to-be mom-of-two, who recently revealed she’s expecting a girl, wore Raoul‘s gold-trimmed Penelope dress.

But it was Kristin Cavallari who experienced the biggest surprise of the day. ”My stomach literally grew double overnight!!” the expectant reality star Tweeted Sunday. “This belly came out of nowhere!”

Luckily, Cavallari had no problem fitting into her glam pale gray gathered strapless gown, which she paired with nude Christian Louboutin peep-toe heels to host E!’s Academy Awards pre-show.

Kristin’s dress was my favorite she looked stunning! Very old hollywood glamour inspired looked. Alessandra was second – very beautiful. Kourtney and Molly not so much, wasn’t a fan of their dresses.

I voted for Alessandra. Molly’s is a bit too much in my opinion, and while Kourtney and Kristin’s are all right, I don’t think they’re anything special.

Anyway, I find it rather funny that Kristen, who’s due later than Kourtney (going by the fact that Kourtney was a mere nine weeks along when she announced back in early December and Kristin didn’t anounce until over a month later. I’m also guessing that Kristin was a bit further along when she made her announcement than Kourtney was when she made hers, since most celebs don’t announce quite as early as the latter!), has the bigger belly of the two (while Kristen’s belly is a barely-there one, I can’t see ANY belly on Kourtney)!

And before anyone says anything, I realize that it’s pretty obvious that Kourtney’s dress is loser-fitting than Kristin’s. However, she hasn’t looked pregnant to me in ANY of the pictures I’ve seen recently!

OMG when is “bump” going to be dropped for the love of Pete. A bump is what you hit in the road. These are pregnant women, what is so bad about showing during a pregnancy? We all do it.

I like Alessandra’s the best. Kourtney’s is pretty but ill fitting; I know she is pregnant but it is way too big. Kristin’s dress is very nice. Love red but not in love with Molly’s dress.
