Nick Lachey: There’s No ‘Sense of Urgency’ to Have Kids

Will the New Year mean a new baby for Nick Lachey and his wife Vanessa?

“I don’t think there’s necessarily any timetable for it,” Nick told PEOPLE while at Tostitos’ Party with a Purpose to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters.

“We’re definitely excited about being parents at some point, but I think whenever that happens, we’ll embrace it and be excited for it,” says the singer, 38.

“There’s no real sense of urgency at this point.”

While the couple has no immediate plans to start a family of their own, the newlyweds are excited to spend the holidays with Nick’s clan in Cincinnati.

“It’s our first Christmas as a married couple, so we’re looking forward to that,” Nick says.

Katie Finneran Expecting Second Child

She plays a frustrated parent on TV, but Katie Finneran is embracing her new role as a mom — twice over.

The I Hate My Teenage Daughter star, 39, and her husband Darren Goldstein are expecting their second child — a boy! — early next summer, they tell PEOPLE exclusively. The couple are already parents to son Ty, 10 months.

Finneran, a two-time Tony Award winner for her stage roles in Promises, Promises and Noises Off, married Goldstein, an actor known for his role on Damages and his Broadway turn in Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, in August 2010 in New York City.

“Life could not be better right now,” Finneran tells PEOPLE. “The idea that our 10-month old is going to be a big brother is simply thrilling!”

When it comes to baby skin care, it’s hard to separate the fake-out’s from the real finds — even for a mom and dermatologist like me. Recently, I had the chance to check out two of Mustela’s latest products. And let’s just say, the company’s well-deserved rep as a go-to mommy and baby care brand is still intact.

David Beckham and eldest sons Brooklyn Joseph, 12, and Romeo James, 9, make a fashionable arrival for the annual Night of Heroes award ceremony, which honors British servicemen and women, on Monday night in London.

We saw the entire family – mom Victoria and little siblings Cruz David, 6½, and Harper Seven, 5 months, included — at the airport heading home to the U.K. over the weekend.
