Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale and elder son Kingston keep an eye on the paparazzi during a fun-filled Christmas Eve Saturday at the Los Angeles Zoo.

The 5½-year-old and little brother Zuma, 3, ran around with their parents, climbing on a seal sculpture before checking out the monkey exhibit.

“When you have two little boys, you have to play outside. There’s no way around it,” the No Doubt frontwoman, 42, tells In Style.

“If we’re at the park, I try not to wear heels. The kids are so gigantic, it would be painful.”

Mariah Carey: My Son Is the ‘Life of the Party’

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon‘s twins, Moroccan and Monroe, are only seven months old, but according to the pop star, they’re already relatable.

“It’s so funny … there’s a picture of the two of us together and we look identical and we have the identical smile,” Carey says in a new interview special, Mariah Carey: On The Record with Fuse, which airs Sunday.

“I recognize the joy that’s in him. There’s something that was always free about me, it just got stifled as things grew in my career.”

The slimmed-down singer adds that if you walked up to her son, whom she calls “the life of the party,” he would “just smile and be your best friend.”

A pregnant Jessica Simpson is one hands-on aunt, enjoying a fun day of shopping and lunch with nephew Bronx Mowgli on Friday in Calabasas, Calif.

“He rubs my belly. He said he wants it to be a girl, but he thinks it’s going to be a boy,” the singer and designer says of her sister Ashlee‘s son.

Simpson, 31, expects her first child with fiancé Eric Johnson this spring.

Julianna Margulies: My Son Is Scared of Santa

Julianna Margulies says her son Kieran Lindsay, 3½, has something in common with nearly every other starry-eyed toddler during the holiday season: a fear of Santa.

And that’s exactly why he hasn’t visited the jolly man in red this year — yet.

“I tried last year at our Christmas party and he wouldn’t get on Santa’s lap and hid behind me,” The Good Wife star, 45, told PEOPLE at the L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth Awards on Dec. 15 in New York City.

“This year I actually asked our production, ‘Could you have Santa in the light?,’ because they always had him in a dark corner and that scared my kid. But I think most kids are afraid of Santa, until they get to 6 or 7.”

Robert De Niro Welcomes Daughter Helen Grace

Robert De Niro and wife Grace Hightower De Niro have welcomed a daughter, his rep tells PEOPLE.

Helen Grace, born via surrogate, weighed in at 7 lbs., 2 oz.

She is the second child together for the couple, who first met back in 1987 in London and are already parents to son Elliot, 13.

The Academy Award winning actor, 68, also has four other children: daughter Drena, 40, and son Raphael, 35, with former wife Diahnne Abbott, as well as 16-year-old twin sons Julian and Aaron, born via surrogate with ex-girlfriend Toukie Smith.
