Spotted: Jennifer Garner and Seraphina Hang Tough

Jenny White/Broadimage

How’s it hangin’?

Soon-to-be mom-of-three Jennifer Garner gives daughter Seraphina Rose Elizabeth, 2½, a hand at the monkey bars on Sunday during a family outing in Santa Monica, Calif.

“It’s so important that we remind ourselves to get up and out with our kids and run them around,” the actress, 38, says.

“I have to remind myself [too]. Just yesterday, I realized we’d been sitting inside all day on a gorgeous day. I thought, ‘I just have to get outside. Just go and get to the park. Go out in the dirt and muck and be outside and get fresh air and run around.’”

Katherine Heigl Wants ‘Three to Four Kids’

Eric Charbonneau/WireImage

Katherine Heigl definitely wants siblings for her 3-year-old daughter Naleigh. But just how many is up for debate.

“I used to want like six kids,” the New Year’s Eve actress, 33, says in an interview airing Wednesday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. But she and husband Josh Kelley have cut that back a little.

“We’re thinking maybe like three to four kids,” Heigl says. “That would be my ideal.”

“That’s still a lot,” DeGeneres points out. To which Heigl replies: “That’s still a lot, isn’t it? Alright, maybe two.”

Courtesy Heather Christo

Planning a family-friendly holiday party isn’t as easy as it looks.

The goal is to make sure both big and small guests enjoy themselves and let’s be honest, kids often get the shaft.

To get the right mix, we tapped entertaining guru Heather Christo (below) for some fun ideas.

Check them out below:

Create cool drinks for every age. While the adults sip on alcohol, make sure there are some fun drinks for the little ones. Sparkling juices, sparkling water or apple cider make kids feel special.

Another great idea is a hot chocolate bar. This has been a hit at many of my holiday parties. Plus, there are so many hot chocolate recipes (milk, dark or even white) to try.
