Jessica Simpson proudly shows off her baby belly while hitting the red carpet for the Footwear News Achievement Awards with fiancé Eric Johnson at New York’s Museum of Modern Art on Tuesday.

Showing she’s learned from her fashion mistakes, the mom-to-be swathes her bump in a deep crimson wrap dress with matching pumps and H.Stern earrings.

“Eric is very, very supportive. We’re both extremely excited,” the singer and designer, 31, tells PEOPLE.

“He’s been to every doctor’s appointment with me. We just love it.”

I love the way she’s looking at Eric in the first photo. I don’t think I’ve seen even one picture of her without a smile since she announced her pregnancy!

Agreed. She sure does have a beautiful, happy pregnancy glow! And I don’t even like her lol but my mind can’t help but change once a person becomes a loving, happy mother I always tend to start liking them more. Weird maybe but true. I’m glad she’s happy!
