The cat in the hat came back!

Gretchen Mol — as Raggedy Ann — and husband Tod ‘Kip’ Williams, took their two children out for a Halloween party on Sunday in the West Village.

Son Ptolemy John, 4, dressed as the popular Dr. Seuss character, while daughter Winter Morgan, 8 months, stayed snug in her stroller.

The Boardwalk Empire star, 38, and her director husband, 44, were married in June 2004.

Ali Larter: Teddy Is the ‘Light of My Life’

Ali Larter has finally heard the sweetest music to her ears: 10-month-old son Theodore Hayes‘s first word.

“He actually said, ‘Mama,’ this morning! I started jumping and just grabbed him and kissed him all over. It was so sweet,” the actress, 35, tells PEOPLE during Glad’s One Bag Program tailgate on Saturday in Los Angeles, Calif.

These days, adds Larter, even her “sweet little boy’s” smallest accomplishments have been a great source of celebration.

“It’s really exciting,” she explains. “He’s the light of my life and I couldn’t be happier.”

Spotted: Padma Lakshmi’s Lil’ Lion, Krishna

Happy Halloween!

Padma Lakshmi takes her little lion, Krishna Thea, out trick or treating on Monday in New York City.

“She has her own little way of speaking and her own little accent,” the Top Chef host, 41, recently told PEOPLE about her 20-month-old daughter.

“She has a fully-formed personality and it’s evolving and changing every day.”

The latest season of Top Chef premieres Wednesday at 10 p.m. on Bravo.

Hugh Grant Welcomes a Daughter

Hugh Grant has become a dad after the birth of his first child, a daughter, his rep tells PEOPLE.

“I can confirm that Hugh Grant is the delighted father of a baby girl,” the rep says in a statement.

“He and the mother had a fleeting affair and while this was not planned, Hugh could not be happier or more supportive. He and the mother have discussed everything and are on very friendly terms.”

The longtime bachelor, 51, who famously dated Elizabeth Hurley for 13 years, then Jemima Khan for three, has not revealed who the mother is. He was last romantically linked to Chinese actress Tinglan Hong.
