Selma Blair ‘Going to Be Bald’ After Post-Partum Hair Loss

Selma Blair wants to keep it real.

Just like all new moms, she’s experiencing the joys — and also the pains — of the hormonal changes that come in the first few months following childbirth.

“This is so not glamorous, but it’s true: I need to take longer showers so that I can collect the hair that falls out and throw it away so I don’t clog the drain. Why do actresses never talk about that?” she tells PEOPLE with a laugh before the Nov. 12 launch party for Gwen Stefani‘s Harajuku Mini for Target collaboration.

“It just started falling out at the three-month mark,” laments the actress, 39, whose son Arthur Saint is now four months old. “And I’m not a girl who likes extensions, so Selma’s going to be bald!”

Pregnant Pauses Helps Moms-to-Be Stay Mobile

As a longtime studier and practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method of movement, Alan Questel came to realize that pregnant women would best benefit from his teachings. ”They were really the ideal population to interact with about this, in that they’re carrying a new life in them and they’re at a time when their bodes are changing radically, from week to week to week,” he tells PEOPLE.

Thus, Questel created Pregnant Pauses, a video series in which he instructs expectant mothers how to master movement as they move through the different stages of pregnancy via repetitions of movement termed “pauses.”

Hilary Duff’s Baby Bump Is on the Move!

Joe Scarnici/WireImage

Mom-to-be Hilary Duff may still be pregnant, but her baby boy is already set on stealing the spotlight.

“Today I got out of the shower and one side of my stomach [was] way bigger than the other side. It was the first time that I saw the baby actually moving in there!” the Devoted author, 24, told PEOPLE Monday at the launch of The Beauty Book for Brain Cancer in Los Angeles.

“It was like I had a little alien inside! I was hoping that the baby would move back over by the time I had to go on the [red] carpet.”

And after keeping it under wraps, Duff — who stepped out in a green sequined mini dress — is finally ready to bare her belly.

Eric Church Reveals Wife’s Pre-Show Pumping Performance

Michael Loccisano/Wireimage

Before Eric Church hit the stage Wednesday night for his performance at the CMAs, the country crooner and wife Katherine were busy coordinating a side act of their own.

The couple spent the time prior to the awards show in a hotel room. The reason? Their 5-week-old son Boone McCoy — who was waiting at home — had to eat!

“This whole night, for me, is just rock and roll! My wife [was] pumping breastmilk at the Hilton next door,” Church, 34, told PEOPLE backstage.

But the pressure was on when things took a bit longer than usual.

“We were running late and had to get over here to play the show and she was on her left breast — we had done the right one. We were waiting for the pump to finish and I was like, ‘We gotta go!’” he laughs.
