When daughter Ella was little, Paul Lindley struggled to find healthy and delicious snacks that he could take on the go.

So, the UK-based dad decided to do something about it. Thus, Ella’s Kitchen was born.

The line of organic baby food is not only yummy, but they sport fun, kid-friendly names (purple one, anyone?).

And since its U.S. launch in 2009, the company has been busy — recently debuting three new collections (First Tastes, Baby Brekkie and Fruit & Baby Rice).

So the baby slurps the food right out of the plastic pouch? Does this seem odd to anyone else? Because I spend a lot of time trying to keep my toddlers from chewing on anything plastic in fear they gnaw off a piece and choke. Maybe I’m just high maintenance.

The only thing that bothers me is that for YEARS using a baby feeder was a no no, if you used one you were a bad mother, your kid would grow up to be fat, your kid would choke on the food and so on and yet what is this? It’s the same darn thing.

I actually like this idea and I personally never fell into the whole baby feeders are evil stuff but I’d like to see what the ‘experts’ think

In case you don’t know what a feeder is it’s a bottle you put a jar of baby food in that has a bigger hole in the nipple for the food and your baby sucks on it like they would a bottle filled with formula

My baby LOVES these and so do I. The mess is so much easier to clean with these then jar food. They even have the spoons you can connect to the top part now. I stock my pantry with them.

I wish they had made these when my kids were eating baby food. Looks like they have some really good ‘blends’ of baby foods….I love when there is a creative mix of veggies and fruits!
