Courtesy Pearls & Popcorn

Tired of basic kids clothing with no flair?

Then you’ll love Pearls & Popcorn, a Paris-based children’s collection of tailored pieces with a chic European vibe.

Debuting exclusively at Bloomingdale’s, it includes everything from knit pom pom dresses and plaid pull-over blouses for girls to grandpa shawl sweaters and western-style denim shirts for boys.

There’s even a mini selection of sweet footed pajamas — we love the Bow Print version ($25) — for baby.

Best part: Everything is $60 and under.

This is a very cute outfit.I like to see kids dressed like kids and not mini adults.

I just had to say this little girl is the cutest kid I’ve seen in a long time. I mean really the hands in the pockets and the tennis shoes are too cute!!!

The little girl has the face of a teenager. Cute.

Adorable kid and clothes and they are reasonable until you really think about it, the outfit she’s wearing is over 100 bucks just for the jeans(49), shirt(20), and cardigan(40) The shoes look to be converse and those run you 37 bucks from Bloomingdale’s. While I think the clothes are adorable I don’t think I’d want to spend that much on an outfit that would be outgrown in a few months.

perfect little girl clothes :) and gorgeous little girl.

That is a funky looking kid, but she looks like a character.

I think the little girl is adorable, but I kind of agree. The picture looks like it has been photoshopped in a weird way that makes her head look like it is about 2 feet in front of her body. I wouldn’t say she looks like a character though, I just think the pose and editing is a little weird, but still very cute!

The clothes look very nice as well. Simple, youthful and affordable.

The article implies that the clothes are so affordable–everything under 60 bucks! Umm, the whole outfit costs over $100. That is NOT cheap for a toddler! I’d say 100-150 dollars is cheap for an outfit for an adult woman who can continue wearing the clothes for years if she takes good care of them, but for a child who will outgrow the clothes in 6 months? Ridiculous. Also, another reason why kids clothes should not be as expensive as adult clothes is because they are MUCH smaller! The average 3 year old’s outfit requires about 1/8 of the fabric a grown woman’s clothes would require to make, therefore making it much cheaper to produce!

I think the editors on this website are out of touch with reality. Please remember, the readers of this site are not celebrities with millions of dollars! Me and my husband are upper middle class and even I think its ridiculous to call these clothes “affordable”. Can I afford them? Yes, I can afford them if I only go shopping for my child once a year, but at this stage children grow VERY fast, and you have to shop for them every 2 or 3 months.

Whew! Apparently i’m not the only one that thinks that her head appears to be twice the size of a normal childs head. Maybe it’s bad photoshopping or something. Either way, that’s one older, but adorable looking little girl. And the outfit is pricy but precious.

Glad I’m not the only one who thinks this outfit is outrageously priced and the photo editor has been far too heavy handed with this model.

Ack, the Photoshop job hurts my eyes. So bad!
